00:01 - You know, our time comes and goes so
00:02 rapidly, but we want to make sure and give you 00:04 some closing thoughts and encourage you on 00:06 how you might, as a student looking for a 00:08 school might want to consider Laurelbrook 00:10 Academy. Heissel, what would you say to a student 00:13 that may be watching the program-a potential 00:16 student of Laurelbrook? Why would you encourage 00:18 them to come to this school? - Well, I would 00:20 encourage them to come because it's a great school 00:24 where you can actually put your hands to do 00:28 something and actually learn things, and your 00:32 character can grow and get developed, and actually 00:38 you get closer to God. Your spirituality in Laurelbrook 00:40 is- it grows so amazing that I actually get to 00:44 experience, too, that it could happen to me, too. 00:48 - Amen. - What about you, Michael? - Well, to come to 00:52 Laurelbrook, I would first suggest seek God. 00:56 - That's right. - And ask and try and understand 01:00 what He has for you. Laurelbrook has helped 01:03 me personally a lot, and it has set true 01:07 foundations, fundamentals, in what I believe in: 01:11 that God exists, that He is in control, and that 01:14 He is good. - Amen. - And if you want to 01:17 also have that walk with God personally, then I 01:21 really encourage Laurelbrook, too. - Amen. That's wonderfully 01:24 said. President Warren, what would your closing 01:28 thoughts be to those who are watching or 01:29 listening to the program? - Well, I would say that, 01:32 consider education from a different perspective. 01:37 Traditionally, reading, writing, and arithmetic 01:40 has been our motto- yes, yes. However, in 01:44 this day and age, young people need to know more, 01:46 especially the times in which we're living. 01:49 We don't have much time left, and these young people 01:52 have the energy and the wherewithal to go and 01:55 finish the work, and in order to do that, they 01:57 really need to be prepared spiritually, mentally, and 02:01 vocationally so that when they get out to 02:04 these remote areas or places where people haven't 02:08 heard the gospel, they will be able to contribute 02:11 right away-and that's what we're doing at 02:13 Laurelbrook. We're preparing young people 02:15 to go out and do the work, wherever God sends 02:18 them. And as we mentioned earlier, our motto, learning 02:21 by doing, is a real part of the DNA at Laurelbrook. 02:25 So, we would encourage you to come. - Well, 02:27 thank you for being here. Thank you, Heissel; thank 02:29 you, Michael-Leilani as well as Maria. And those 02:32 of you watching the program, thank you for taking your 02:34 time to tune in. I pray that the information you 02:36 receive today will encourage you to take 02:38 it further and find out how you can be involved 02:40 in missions in your own walk with Christ. Well, 02:43 friends, until we see you again, may the 02:45 Lord richly bless you. |
