00:01 Well, as you know, friends, our time
00:02 comes and goes so quickly, 00:04 today, was about the time of the end. 00:05 And I'm going to give each one of my pastors 00:07 here an opportunity to give some final comments. 00:10 Now there's a pattern the Bible established, 00:12 Pastor Dinzey, and the Old Testament, 00:15 the New Testament and the last book of the Bible, 00:17 that can give people indicators 00:19 as to know they are safe in their Christian walk. 00:21 What did we find in Isaiah 8? 00:23 Well, in Isaiah 8:20, you know, in this time of deception, 00:27 and every wind of doctrine blowing, 00:29 the Bible says in Isaiah 8:20, 00:30 "To the law and to the testimony! 00:32 If they do not speak according to this word, 00:35 it is because there is no light in them." 00:38 Wow! So look for that indicator. 00:41 And that was the Old Testament test. 00:43 What was the New Testament test? 00:44 Oh, he said, there's no light in them. 00:46 Notice what 1 John 2:3-4 says, it says, 00:50 "Now by this we know that we know Him, 00:53 if we keep His commandments. 00:55 He who says, 'I know Him,' 00:56 and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, 00:58 and the truth is not in him." 01:01 Jesus referred to the Holy Spirit 01:02 as the Spirit of Truth. 01:05 And we know that when we have the Holy Spirit, 01:06 we have the light of Jesus in us, 01:08 the truth of Jesus in us and we can walk 01:11 in that light rather than in darkness. 01:12 That's right. 01:14 Thank you so much, Ryan, for that comment. 01:15 Pastor Dinzey, it's amazing how, 01:17 when you look at the Old Testament, 01:18 and New Testament, the standard is the same, 01:21 the commandments of God in both case is same. 01:23 If you're looking for light, 01:25 look for the commandments of God. 01:26 Revelation 14:12, 01:28 "Here is the patience of the saints. 01:30 Here are those who keep 01:32 the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." 01:34 And the wise man Solomon said in Proverbs 6:23, 01:38 "For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is a light." 01:42 Friends, when you walk according to God's Word, 01:44 you'll never have to worry about being deceived, 01:47 never have to worry about being in darkness. 01:49 Continue trusting God's Word. 01:50 Look for a commandment keeping body of believers. 01:53 And our commitment is we make sure that 01:56 at 3ABN looks at God's Word 01:58 and we promise we will leave the light on for you. 02:01 God bless you. |
