00:02 We have had such a powerful study 00:04 on talking about Serpentology, 00:06 that first lie that the devil told 00:07 in reference to, you shall not surely die. 00:10 We've studied it, we know that the Bible, 00:12 what the Bible teaches on this. 00:13 Pastor, I'm gonna pitch it to you, 00:15 how do we get to heaven? 00:17 If not, by way of immediate, 00:19 you know, immediately after death? 00:20 How do we get to heaven, according to the Bible? 00:22 Very simply, John 14:3, the Lord says, 00:25 "I will come again and receive you to Myself, 00:29 that where I am, there you may be also." 00:31 He left to prepare a place for us 00:33 and He says, "If I'm going, 00:35 I will come again to receive you." 00:37 It's the reception. 00:39 That's why the resurrection is so important. 00:41 He's gonna receive the saints. 00:42 We shall be caught up together to meet Him, 00:44 but it's interesting, He said in John 13, 00:47 very carefully in verse 33, "Little children, 00:49 I shall be with you a little while longer. 00:52 You will seek Me, and as I said to the Jews, 00:54 'Where I am going, you cannot come.'" 00:58 Where am I going? 00:59 I'm going where you cannot come. 01:01 So you're not dying to go there. 01:02 I'm going there to come back, and then take you there. 01:05 When I come back, then I'm taking you, 01:07 but when I leave, you can't come. 01:09 So we have to wait for the coming of the Lord. 01:11 Praise the Lord. Dako? 01:12 Amen. 01:13 I agree, I think we tend to make 01:15 the Second Coming of Jesus and the hope for eternal life, 01:18 in personal, 01:19 when we separate it from Christ 01:21 coming and receiving us unto Himself. 01:23 When he said there, as pastor read, 01:25 "I go to prepare a place for you. 01:26 And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, 01:30 and receive you unto Myself," right? 01:33 It's not just some like, you know, 01:35 poofing away as some people think about it. 01:37 It's a receiving. 01:38 Jesus receiving us unto Himself. 01:40 And as you pointed out in 1 Thessalonians, 01:42 well, that will happen together so... 01:44 Amen.
