00:02 when we get together and study the Bible, 00:04 and we hope you have been as well. 00:05 Johnny, have you got a closing thought? 00:07 I would just like to go back and in this scripture 00:10 where it says that there's joy in heaven 00:12 over one sinner that repents. 00:16 There's gonna be great joy in heaven. 00:17 If you're listening and you just happen to... 00:20 Oh, Christian programming and you're listening, 00:22 the Holy Spirit has already been 00:24 working with you. 00:25 Accept God's call to repentance and come to the Lord. 00:29 You will be accepted, forgiven 00:31 and made a son and a daughter of God. 00:34 Amen. Amen. 00:35 Praise the Lord. 00:37 When I read through these beautiful parables 00:39 that we've discussed, you just can't help, 00:41 but see the love, the compassion, 00:43 the care from our Savior, Jesus. 00:45 That's what these parables are all about 00:47 to show that Jesus genuinely cares. 00:48 And He's wanting us to have His mind 00:51 as Philippians 2:5 says, "Let this mind be in you, 00:54 which is also in Christ Jesus, our Lord." 00:57 And so, when I read through these parables, 00:59 I wanna have the heart of Jesus. 01:01 As He's explaining to these Pharisees 01:03 who were complaining, 01:04 He's saying, no, no, no, no. 01:05 These tax collectors, these sinners, 01:07 they are My precious children as well. 01:09 And we need to have that. 01:11 That's why I love what Martin Luther said 01:13 is a powerful quote here. 01:14 But he says, "When I look into myself, 01:15 I don't know how I could ever be saved. 01:18 But when I look unto Jesus, 01:21 I don't know how I could ever be lost." 01:23 Amen and amen. 01:25 You know, that's something that every night 01:27 when I'm praying, I thank God that 01:31 He became a man 01:33 that He humiliated Himself to take on our flesh 01:36 and become a man. 01:38 And then that He went to the cross to pay our debt... 01:42 That's right. 01:43 So that we could have the gift of salvation. 01:48 And you know, people sometimes it's like, oh, grace, 01:52 does that mean we don't have to obey? 01:53 No. 01:55 Grace even gives us the power to obey 01:58 as God works in us to will and to do His good pleasure. 02:03 Just please know, we hope that 02:06 you will receive the love of the Lord today, 02:10 that you will understand your worth 02:13 nothing less than the price 02:15 that He paid for you with His own life and blood. 02:19 And that you'll turn around and look to Jesus. 02:23 And when you do, 02:24 there's gonna be rejoicing in heaven. 02:27 Ryan, thank you for joining us. 02:29 Johnny, thank you for joining us. 02:31 And for those of you at home, 02:33 our prayer for you is that the grace of our Lord 02:37 and Savior Jesus Christ, the love of the Father 02:40 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit 02:42 will be yours, not just today, 02:45 but every day through eternity. |
