Yeah. 05:09 I love that song. 05:11 I love that song. It's a powerful song. 05:13 And it's kind of got 05:15 a little bit of a play on words, 05:16 obviously, right over the hill. 05:17 You know, usually what do they quote? 05:19 I mean, age 40, I think it is that they say 05:20 you're over the hill when you reach age 40. 05:22 Yeah. 05:23 I was hoping it was a little older than 05:25 that, but, but 40 is good. 05:27 Yeah. But no, over the hill, the hill Mount Calvary. 05:30 Right. That's the one hill will never be over, right? 05:31 I pray. I never, and I, yeah, 05:33 I have no intention of getting over that hill. 05:35 Oh man, it's just, it's so awesome 05:38 because it's there the events that transpired on Calvary. 05:42 Right. 05:44 That's, there is no other display 05:47 that clearly communicates the love of God 05:49 more than Calvary. 05:51 Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Bible says 05:54 for the joy that was set before Him 05:57 endured the cross despising the shame. 06:00 That's powerful to know that it was a joy for Him 06:04 to take man's penalty, the penalty for sin. 06:08 And when I think about that powerful 06:10 Golgotha's hill Calvary's hill, 06:13 it just, it just, it's incredible to think 06:16 about the love of God, 06:18 'cause we can't really fully comprehend 06:20 it, but yet at the same time, 06:21 it draws us to the uplifted Savior, right? 06:22 Yeah, right. 06:24 All of that hill represents, 06:25 all that the cross represents for me, 06:26 forgiveness, mercy, grace, love... 06:30 That's right. 06:32 It's powerful. It really is powerful. 06:33 I want to say, uh, before we go on any further welcome, 06:37 we can get caught up in the goodness of God 06:39 and that's you just join us. 06:41 All right. We're just having a good time today. 06:43 We're going to sing the praises of our Lord and we pray that, 06:47 something in the songs encourages you 06:50 and draws you closer to our Savior. 06:52 And we pray that He is your Savior too. 06:55 These songs mean a lot to us, 06:57 some old songs, a couple of new ones. 06:59 Right. 07:00 But something that we will never again 07:03 get over is the love of God. 07:04 That's right. 07:06 Maybe you'll like this one. 07:12 The love of God is greater far 07:18 Than tongue or pen 07:21 Can ever tell 07:24 It goes beyond 07:28 The highest star 07:31 And reaches to 07:35 The lowest hell 07:38 The guilty pair, 07:42 Bowed down with care 07:46 God gave His Son to win 07:53 His erring child 07:56 He reconciled 08:00 And pardoned from his sin 08:06 O love of God, 08:10 How rich and pure! 08:13 How measureless 08:17 And strong! 08:19 It shall forevermore endure 08:26 The saints' and angels' 08:32 Song 08:41 Could we with ink 08:46 The ocean fill 08:52 And were the skies 08:56 Of parchment made 09:01 Where every stalk 09:05 On earth a quill 09:10 And every man 09:15 A scribe by trade 09:19 To write the love 09:24 Of God above 09:28 Would drain the ocean 09:34 Dry 09:36 Nor could the scroll 09:41 Contain the whole 09:45 Though stretched from 09:47 Sky to sky 09:54 O love of God, 09:58 How rich and pure! 10:02 How measureless 10:06 And strong! 10:09 It shall forevermore 10:15 Endure 10:18 The saints' and angels' 10:24 Song 10:27 The saints' and angels' song 10:39 O love of God, 10:45 How rich and pure! 10:49 How measureless 10:53 And strong! 10:56 It shall forevermore 11:02 Endure 11:04 The saints' and angels' 11:10 Song 11:13 O love of God 11:17 Sweet love of God 11:33 The overwhelming never ending love of God. 11:36 Oh, my goodness, right? 11:37 I mean it's, when you think of Calvary's cross, 11:41 you think of love, but even more past 11:43 that the fact that Christ has died for us, 11:47 it is through Him and His shed blood 11:49 that we now have forgiveness of sin, right? 11:51 All of those sins that we've committed, 11:53 we don't have to, 11:54 you know, bear the penalty for that 11:56 because Christ has already taken it. 11:58 And He says, now through Me, I can grant you forgiveness. 12:01 I can grant you freedom over the world and over sin. 12:05 And so it's just powerful to think 12:07 that I can go to Jesus Christ in prayer and just say, Lord, 12:11 have mercy on me, a sinner, right? 12:13 That tax collector's prayer, have mercy on me, a sinner, 12:16 Lord, please forgive me. 12:19 And if we ever needed forgiveness, 12:21 we live in a day 12:23 where we need to, we need to encounter 12:26 and experience God's forgiveness, 12:28 and we need to extend forgiveness to each other. 12:31 And, uh, this is a great song written by Gerald Crabb, 12:37 a great songwriter and such a heartfelt message. 12:41 And, this is for someone like me, for me. 12:51 My sleep is gone 12:54 My heart is full of sorrow 13:00 I can't believe how much 13:03 I've let you down 13:08 I dread the pain that 13:10 Waits for me tomorrow 13:15 When the sun reveals my broken dreams 13:20 Scattered on the ground 13:25 Please forgive me 13:29 I need your grace to may get through 13:34 All I had is you 13:37 I'm at your mercy, Lord 13:42 I'll serve you 13:46 Until my dying day 13:50 Help others find the way 13:54 I'm at your mercy 13:58 Please forgive me 14:06 I can't believe 14:08 The God of earth and glory 14:14 Would take the time 14:16 To care for one like me 14:21 I've read the Bible 14:23 I've read that old, old story 14:28 How Christ bled for my forgiveness 14:33 While dying on that tree 14:37 So please forgive me 14:42 I need your grace to make it through 14:46 All I have is you 14:49 I'm at your mercy 14:53 Lord, I'll serve you 14:57 Until my dying day 15:01 Help others find a way 15:04 I'm at your mercy 15:08 Oh, please forgive me 15:12 I need your grace to make it through 15:17 All I have is you 15:20 I'm at your mercy 15:23 Lord, I'll serve you 15:28 Until my dying days 15:32 Help others find the way 15:35 I'm at your mercy 15:39 Please forgive me 15:47 I'm at your mercy 15:52 Please forgive me 16:04 When I sing that song, I'm reminded of David 16:07 in Psalm 51, 16:11 it's recorded that the whole episode 16:14 of his heart and how he felt 16:19 such repentance and, um... 16:23 This is a follow-up to that. 16:26 It says... 16:27 Create in me a clean heart 16:31 Oh, God 16:36 And renew a right spirit 16:38 within me 16:43 Create in me a clean heart 16:48 Oh God 16:52 And renew a right spirit 16:55 within me 16:59 Oh, cast me not away 17:02 From Thy presence 17:05 Oh Lord 17:07 And take not Thy Holy Spirit 17:12 From me 17:15 Restore unto me 17:19 The joy of Thy salvation 17:25 And renew a right spirit within me 17:34 I'm at your mercy 17:37 Lord, please forgive me 17:51 Wow. 17:52 Create in me a clean heart, oh God, 17:56 and renew a right spirit within me. 17:59 That's just such a powerful, simple prayer. 18:01 And I find myself often praying that, Lord, cleanse me, right? 18:04 Absolutely. 18:06 Create in me a clean heart and renew 18:08 the Holy Spirit within me. 18:09 You can pray that prayer to wherever you are, 18:12 no matter what you're doing or where you are, 18:14 God hears your prayer. 18:15 And we are reassured, 18:16 I love reading powerful passages 18:19 like that in the Bible, because David's a perfect example 18:21 that what God done for David, He can do for you and me. 18:24 And the same thing for Moses, 18:26 the same thing for all of these powerful Bible characters. 18:29 I think of Daniel. I think of Joseph. 18:30 These guys went through hardships. 18:32 They went through challenges and trials, 18:34 but yet God came through for them. 18:37 And there's a fun song 18:39 that we're going to sing it this time. 18:40 It's written by the Hinsons, 18:41 and made popular by the Hinsons back in the day, 18:44 it's called, God's going to do the same for you and me. 18:47 Yeah, good song of testimony. 18:50 Sing about Him. 18:52 Do you recall that certain chapter 18:57 Where pharohs men were after all of Israel 19:01 And made God's people flee 19:04 God drowned pharoes men 19:07 The children crossed upon dry land 19:09 I'm tellin you God's gonna do the same for you and me 19:14 Well I believe He is 19:17 While other's just think He was 19:20 While they suppose He did 19:23 I know He still does 19:25 And I'm holdin to the promise 19:27 Where two or three agree 19:30 God's gonna do the same for you and me 19:35 Yes, He is. 19:37 Well He now healed their sons and daughter 19:40 He made the wine out of water 19:43 He was there when Peter crossed on the raging sea 19:48 And He fed the little sparrow 19:50 And He put the meal in the widow's barrel 19:53 I'm tellin you God's gonna do the same for you and me 19:57 Well I believe He is 20:01 While other's just think He was 20:03 While they suppose He did 20:06 I know He still does 20:08 And I'm holdin to the promise 20:11 Where two or three agree 20:14 God's gonna do the same for you and me 20:18 Well I believe He is 20:21 While other's just think He was 20:24 While they suppose He did 20:26 Well, I know He still does 20:29 And I'm holdin to the promise 20:31 Where two or three agree 20:34 God's gonna do the same for you and me 20:39 Oh, God's gonna do the same for you and me 20:50 I love it. 20:51 We can dwell on those promises to know that God 20:54 can do the same, He's still the same powerful God. 20:55 He's a never changing God, never, never changes. 20:58 I love it. 20:59 I love it. Yeah. 21:01 Beautiful, beautiful. 21:02 And we can rest assure to know that just as He carried 21:06 those brothers and sisters in the days of old, right? 21:08 Yes. 21:09 He can still carry us through today. 21:11 And that's the beautiful gospel promise 21:13 that we have that no matter where you are, 21:15 no matter what problem that you might be experiencing, 21:18 that may seem too big, a mountain to tall, 21:20 a valley too deep, 21:22 whatever the situation is in your life, 21:24 this next song testifies to the fact 21:26 that He will carry you through. 21:28 He will, you know, and I just want to say something here. 21:30 A lot of times we don't share personal things 21:33 or maybe we do sometimes, 21:35 but this happened just this week. 21:37 My son loves motorcycles 21:40 and he had his motorcycle stolen 21:44 and I was so honored, you know, to have your children 21:49 call is nice that they stay in touch. 21:53 But when I see my son's names on the screen, on the phone, 21:58 my first, I just go to that place for our Lord. 22:01 You know, you've got a 50, 50 chance of it being 22:03 good news or bad news. 22:05 And, but his opening comment was dad, 22:09 I need you to pray with me. 22:11 Oh, wow. 22:12 And what an honor, 22:13 that your children will come to you 22:17 asking you to pray with them. 22:20 And so, as I was praying, you know, 22:23 part of me was rejoicing 22:24 over the fact that I do have the opportunity to pray. 22:26 And, we're not, we weren't only praying 22:29 that the bike would be restored and recovered, 22:31 but that it would be, 22:33 you know, whoever has it, that... 22:35 Undamaged. 22:37 It will be, well, of course it will be undamaged, 22:38 but that it will be an opportunity for my son 22:41 to be able to witness to him, 22:44 because you know, really that that's the lesson we learned, 22:47 you know, the bike was secured. 22:49 You know, it was in the unit and it had a lock on it 22:52 that, he had literally had to take a blade of like, 22:57 whatever electrical blade and, you know, saw it. 23:00 So, but it wasn't a time to teach lessons. 23:04 You know, sometimes we're guilty of bringing lessons 23:06 when we pray, when we pray for other people. 23:08 I told you. 23:09 Right. Exactly. 23:10 You should have been more careful 23:12 or whatever, but no, 23:13 this was, honestly I wanted to convey how important it is. 23:15 And in every situation take the opportunity 23:17 to be a light for Jesus. 23:19 And throughout that situation, I could tell by the eve, 23:24 the end of the prayer, his voice was lighter 23:26 and that song, this, the song he will carry you. 23:30 That reminds me no matter what you're going through, 23:33 if it's a loss of material goods 23:36 or a loss of relationships 23:38 or a loss of loved one, He will carry you. 23:42 no, there's no problem too big, right? 23:44 In fact, that's the first line, says... 23:46 There is no problem too big 23:49 God cannot solve it 23:55 There is no mountain too tall 23:58 God cannot move it 24:03 There is no storm too dark 24:07 God cannot calm it 24:12 There is no sorrow too deep 24:16 He cannot soothe it 24:21 If He carried the weight of the world 24:26 Upon His shoulders 24:31 I know, my brother, 24:33 That He will carry you 24:38 And if He carried the weight of the world 24:43 Upon His shoulders 24:48 I know, my sister, 24:51 That He will carry you 24:57 He said, "Come unto me 25:02 All who are weary 25:07 And I will give you rest" 25:17 Let's sing this one. 25:20 There is no problem too big 25:23 God cannot solve it 25:27 That's right. 25:29 There is no mountain too tall 25:32 He cannot move it 25:38 There is no storm too dark 25:42 God cannot calm it 25:48 There is no sorrow too deep 25:51 He cannot soothe it 25:56 If He carried the weight of the world 26:02 Upon His shoulders 26:07 I know, my brother, 26:10 That He will carry you 26:15 If He carried the weight of the world 26:20 Upon His shoulders 26:25 I know, my sister, that He will carry you 26:36 I know, my brother 26:40 I know my sister 26:45 That Jesus will carry you 27:03 Yes, He will. 27:04 Yes, He will. Absolutely. 27:06 He can be depended on, for sure. 27:07 Wow. 27:09 That's just one of my favorite songs. 27:10 I love that He will carry you 27:11 and, you know, it's powerful to be able to consider 27:14 and understand the love of God in the sense 27:16 that not only does He see us through our trials, 27:19 because a lot of people have the idea that, 27:21 you know, God's going to save us from our trials, 27:22 but did God save, you know, Noah from the flood? 27:25 Or did He save Him through the flood? Right? 27:27 Did God saved Daniel from the lions' den, 27:30 or did He save him through? 27:31 Did he save the three Hebrew children, 27:33 you know, from the fire furnace? 27:34 No, He saved them through the fiery furnace. 27:36 And, you know, speaking of Daniel, Daniel had a, 27:39 an incredible prayer walk with the Lord 27:42 and the Bible says he prayed three times a day. 27:45 And, you know, to be able to have a relationship with God 27:48 like that, so that he continues to carry you through 27:51 and to continue to work in your life as the Bible promises 27:54 that, you know, that he who has begun a good work in us 27:57 will complete it unto the day of Jesus Christ. 27:59 Philippians 1:6, it's one of my favorite texts, 28:01 but just that whole concept of God carrying us through, 28:04 because we're in relationship with Him, 28:06 covenant relationship based on a daily walk with Him, 28:09 that includes prayer. 28:11 And, you know, I was thinking earlier, 28:13 I would love to hear you play in the garden. 28:15 That's one of my favorite songs in the garden, 28:17 and I'm like, come to the garden alone, right? 28:20 While the dew is still on the roses. 28:21 I love that. 30:04 Beautiful. I love it. 30:05 You know, He carries us, He walks with us. 30:08 Oh, He walks with me 30:10 And He talks me 30:14 And He tells me 30:17 I am his own 30:23 And the joy we share 30:28 As we tarry there 30:35 None other has ever known 30:46 What a mighty God we serve. 30:47 I like that last line. 30:49 None other has ever known. 30:50 And I had a friend. 30:51 I may have shared this before that said, 30:53 they didn't like that because it sounded exclusive 30:56 made, made you sound like your relationship with Christ 30:58 was better than somebody else's, 31:00 you know, for you to sing that. 31:01 Friend, that's what a personal relationship with Christ is all 31:04 about, your own testimony. 31:07 You can speak to the fact, I can speak to the fact. 31:09 That's right. 31:11 That He loves me like I'm His only child. 31:13 That's right. 31:14 He's a personal God. 31:16 And He is a personal God. 31:17 So the joy we share as we tarry there, 31:20 none other has ever known. 31:21 I can't speak for your experience with Christ, 31:24 but I can tell you that He is a personal Savior. 31:27 We sung that one. 31:28 That's so awesome. Yes, Praise the Lord. 31:30 Good news. 31:31 You know, there's, as we were thinking about the songs 31:34 that we were going to prepare today, this song came to mind, 31:36 the one that we're about to do. 31:39 It just brings me back to my childhood 31:40 because this is a song that my sister used to sing. 31:43 We always called this Brandy song. 31:45 My sister's name is Brandy. 31:46 And this was always Brandy song. 31:49 And, you know, as me and my sister and my mother, my father 31:52 would travel and we would sing at different churches. 31:55 This song was always 31:56 one of the number one request songs, 31:59 just because of the words, 32:00 it's so simple, but so profound. 32:02 The song is entitled, Oh, What a Reason. 32:05 And it speaks to the fact that the chorus says, 32:08 you know, He's the only reason I live, 32:11 but oh, what a reason, right? 32:14 He's the only reason I live, but oh, what a reason? 32:18 There's nothing in this world worth living for, 32:21 if you only, it will, it will only leave you empty 32:24 and longing for more, right? 32:26 There's nothing this world has to offer. 32:27 But if you put God first, 32:30 He will become the reason you live. 32:31 But oh, what a reason? 32:33 Love this song. 32:37 I've been blessed 32:41 With many things 32:44 God's been so good to me 32:51 I have family and friends 32:55 Who share in all I do 33:04 But if I lose it all 33:08 And I'm left with nothing 33:16 If I have the Lord, 33:20 I know I'll make it through 33:26 That's right. 33:29 He's the only reason I live 33:34 But, oh what a reason 33:42 He's the only reason I live 33:47 But, oh what a reason 33:54 There's nothing in this world worth living for 34:00 It will only leave you empty 34:04 And longing for more 34:07 He's the only reason I live 34:12 But, oh what a reason 34:20 You may have tried a lot of things 34:25 To find real happiness 34:32 But if you've looked very long 34:37 You know 34:39 It can't be found 34:45 Until you find the Lord 34:49 In the power of 34:52 His Spirit 34:57 He'll be your reason to live 35:02 And He'll never let you down 35:12 He's the only reason I live 35:16 But, oh what a reason 35:24 He's the only reason I live 35:29 But, oh what a reason 35:37 There's nothing in this world 35:40 Worth living for 35:43 It will only leave you empty 35:46 And longing for more 35:50 He's the only reason I live 35:55 But, oh what a reason 36:02 Oh, there's nothing in this world 36:06 Worth living for 36:09 It will only leave you empty 36:13 And longing for more 36:17 He's the only reason I live 36:22 But, oh what a reason 36:30 He's the only reason 36:33 I live 36:38 But, oh what a reason 36:52 Oh, what a reason. 36:55 Wow. 36:56 Wow. 36:58 You know, I can't each and every day I live, 37:00 I find myself more and more. 37:03 I don't know about you, Tim, but I find myself 37:04 more and more dependent on the Lord. 37:06 I think the more you come in covenant relationship 37:09 with the Lord, you find just on a daily basis, 37:12 just how much you need Him. 37:14 Because the Bible says that the enemy is here 37:17 like he's roaring, he's like a roaring lion, 37:19 he's seeking whom he may devour. 37:21 And he is here to steal, 37:23 kill and destroy whatever he can, 37:25 taking God's people out because the Bible says 37:28 he does all of this because 37:29 he knows he has but a short time. 37:33 And so I find myself each and every day, praying, Lord, 37:36 I just need more of you. 37:38 More of you, God, less of the world. 37:41 That's where John the Baptist said, 37:42 He must increase and I must decrease. 37:46 And in a day that there seems to be so little reason 37:50 for living because it's craziness around us. 37:54 To have the solid rock, the sure foundation 37:57 that Christ is to us. 37:58 And I know that sometimes that sounds like a cliche, 38:02 but truly you're right. 38:04 He is, in Him there is reason. 38:07 Do I understand Him? Do I understand His ways? 38:09 No, not always. 38:11 In fact more often than not, I don't understand His ways. 38:14 That's right. 38:15 But, to know that He loves me enough that I can trust Him, 38:20 in a day again, that there are so few things that I can trust. 38:23 That's right. 38:25 Where it seems like everything around us is a lie. 38:27 At times that you got, like you said, 38:29 it's hard to in these days to know who you can trust, 38:31 what you can trust, what information is real. 38:35 It almost seems like we're striving to stay connected 38:38 to reality, the objective truth around us. 38:41 But there's one truth I know, that is I need more of Him. 38:43 More of You. 38:45 More of You, Jesus. 38:49 More of You 38:56 More of You 39:03 I've had all but what I need 39:10 Just more of You 39:15 Of things I've had my fill 39:22 And yet I hunger still 39:29 Empty and bare 39:32 Lord hear my prayer 39:36 Just more of You 39:44 I'm not trying to find 39:47 Just some new frame of mind 39:50 That will change 39:52 My old point of view 39:57 For I've been through it all 40:00 Deep inside nothing's changed 40:04 I'm not new 40:09 I'm not seeking a gift 40:13 Or emotional lift 40:16 But one thing I'm longing to do 40:23 Is to lift up my cup and let you fill it up 40:29 With just You 40:35 More of You 40:41 Oh, more of You 40:48 I've had all but what I need 40:54 Just more of You 41:00 Of things I've had my fill 41:07 And yet I hunger still 41:13 Empty and bare 41:17 Lord hear my prayer 41:20 Just more of You 41:26 Oh, more of You 41:33 More of You 41:39 I've had all but what I need 41:46 Just more of You 41:52 Of things I've had my fill 41:58 And yet I hunger still 42:05 Empty and bare 42:08 Lord hear my prayer 42:11 For more of You 42:19 Empty and bare 42:24 Lord hear my prayer 42:33 For more 42:37 Of You 42:54 Praise the Lord. 42:56 Can't get enough of him. 42:57 Can't get enough. 42:58 Praise the Lord. Can't get enough. 43:00 That's sweet. 43:01 You know, we have to maintain, as Paul said, 43:05 he said he had to die daily, right? 43:07 And each and every day, as we've talked about it, 43:10 so it can be a trial, it can be a struggle. 43:12 That's why Jesus said, 43:14 you know, speaking of the difference between 43:15 the straight and narrow way 43:17 and that broad path that leads to destruction, 43:19 He calls it according to the New King James Version, 43:21 he says, strait is the way and difficult, 43:23 difficult is that way. 43:24 He knows that it's difficult because of the enemy, 43:26 but filling our life with more of Jesus, 43:30 He said, "As I am lifted up, 43:32 so I will draw all men unto Me." 43:34 Right. 43:35 And you know the important thing about, we can have 43:37 more of anything and we can accumulate it. 43:40 And then we can be satisfied with having more, 43:44 but until we let that flow out into our lives 43:48 and into our actions and into our words to others. 43:51 So that's why we want more of Jesus. 43:55 It's certainly helpful to have more of Him, but again, unless 43:59 we spill out unto others, then it doesn't really, 44:02 that we're not fulfilling the Great Commission even. 44:05 So it's important. 44:06 Don't just store it up, just share it. 44:09 That's right. 44:10 And anyone who knows me, I love to sing. 44:12 My favorite songs to sing about is heaven 44:14 or the time when Jesus is going to get us, 44:16 come and get us and take us away 44:17 from this old world, right? 44:18 'Cause we talk about the challenges 44:20 that we're facing, they're real. 44:21 We have to maintain that daily relationship with Christ. 44:24 Fill us up Lord with You. 44:26 But Jesus has promised us in His Word. 44:28 He says, you know what? 44:29 I go to prepare a place for you, 44:31 that where I am there you may be also. 44:32 He's going to return again to get us. 44:35 And I love this next song. 44:36 It's a good old fashioned song 'cause it's called, 44:39 you know, The Old Gospel Ship, right? 44:41 We are a destination people. 44:42 We are looking for a land, right? 44:44 Whenever I was a kid, we would go on vacation. 44:46 My dad would get in that car, get behind the wheel. 44:48 We would not stop until we got where we were going. 44:51 He was not one of these that like to stop 44:53 at the Stuckey's on along side of the road. 44:54 There you go. 44:56 And we would be wishing that he'd stopped 44:57 just so we could have, you know, 44:59 just time out of the car, 45:00 but we're on a trip 45:02 and we're headed there, we're going. 45:05 All right. So shall we do with this? 45:06 Let's do it. Let's do it. 45:12 I have good news to bring 45:14 And that is why I sing 45:17 All my joy with you I'll share 45:21 Oh, I'm gonna take a trip 45:24 In that good old gospel ship 45:27 And go sailing through the air 45:32 Well, I'm gonna take a trip 45:34 In that good old gospel ship 45:37 I'm going far beyond the sky 45:42 Oh, I'm gonna shout and sing 45:44 Until the heaven ring 45:46 When I bid this old world goodbye 45:51 Oh, I can scarcely wait 45:54 I know will not be late 45:56 And we'll spend all our time in prayer 46:01 Oh, when our ship comes in 46:04 We'll leave this world of sin 46:06 And go sailing through the air 46:11 Oh, I'm gonna take a trip 46:14 In that good old gospel ship 46:16 I'm going far beyond the sky 46:21 Oh, I'm gonna shout and sing 46:24 Until the heaven ring 46:26 When I'm leaving this world goodbye 46:30 Now don't you weep for me when I'm gone 46:36 'Cause I won't have to leave here alone 46:40 And when we'll hear that last trumpet sound 46:45 All of us, our feet 46:47 Won't stay on the ground 46:50 We'll go out rise with a shout, gonna fly 46:56 Oh, I'm gonna ride with my Lord through the sky 47:01 Heaven is near and I can't stay here 47:06 Goodbye, world, goodbye 47:09 Now sing the verse on that. 47:10 Oh, I won't have the blues anymore 47:15 When I step on across to that shore 47:21 And I'll never pine for I'll leave this world behind 47:26 My heartaches and tears evermore 47:31 A day, maybe two, then goodbye 47:36 Tomorrow, we'll rise up and fly 47:41 Heaven is near and I can't stay here 47:46 Goodbye, world, goodbye 47:50 Now don't you weep for us when we're gone 47:54 No 'cause we won't have to leave here alone 48:00 And when we'll hear that last trumpet sound 48:05 Our feet won't stay on the ground 48:08 We'll go out rise with a shout, gonna fly 48:14 Oh, we're gonna ride with our Lord in the sky 48:20 Heaven is near and I can't stay here 48:25 Goodbye, world, goodbye 48:28 Get some of that old gospel ship. 48:29 Oh, I'm gonna take a trip 48:32 On that good old gospel ship 48:34 I'm going far beyond the sky 48:39 Oh, I'm gonna shout and sing 48:41 Until the heaven ring 48:44 When we're bidding this world goodbye 48:49 When we're bidding this world goodbye 48:53 Oh, goodbye 48:57 World you goodbye 49:07 You've got world goodbye. 49:10 You and I gonna miss this old world. 49:13 We are not going to miss it. 49:14 Not a bit. 49:15 We're going to have, you know, memories 49:17 for a moment, for a time. 49:18 But at that time, could you imagine 49:21 the glorious return of Jesus. 49:23 When the Bible says that the Son of man, 49:25 He will, with the shout, 49:28 with the voice of the archangel, 49:29 with the trump of God, 49:31 the dead in Christ are going to rise first. 49:33 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up 49:37 together to meet the Lord in the air. 49:39 Then so shall we ever be with the Lord. 49:41 Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. 49:43 That's exciting news. 49:45 Of course, it is. 49:46 That's exciting sight. 49:48 I don't know how anybody 49:49 could just sit there like a nodding alone, 49:51 you know, like them, dry bones that Ezekiel talk, 49:54 and talk about the coming of the Lord 49:55 as if that's not something exciting to talk about, right? 49:59 We can't even begin to fathom it, but at the same time, 50:02 we look forward to that time 50:04 when this old world is behind us 50:07 and we can look forward to a time 50:10 when Jesus is going to come back and get us. 50:13 And He's going to take us away to a sweet land. 50:16 A land that the Bible says, eyes have not seen, 50:20 ears have not heard, 50:22 nor has it entered into the heart of man, 50:24 what God has prepared for us. 50:26 The streets of gold, you know, we're going to walk 50:28 those streets of gold. 50:29 We're going to see the pearly gates. 50:31 The angels are going to take us, 50:32 I'm sure from place to place and say, look over here. 50:34 Look at that mansion. 50:36 Look at that building. Look at that tree. 50:37 Look at that landscape. 50:38 But at the end of the day, I know the one thing 50:41 that we're all going to be excited about 50:44 as we're going to be saying, I want to see Jesus. 50:47 I want to be with my Savior in this sweet Beulah land. 50:52 Makes you a little homesick, right? 51:08 I'm kind of homesick 51:17 for a country 51:23 To which I've never 51:30 Been before 51:38 No sad goodbyes 51:45 Will there be spoken 51:51 For time won't matter 52:00 Anymore 52:07 Beulah Land, Beulah Land 52:13 I'm longing for you 52:21 And some day 52:28 On thee I'll stand 52:36 There my home 52:42 Shall be eternal 52:51 Beulah Land, 52:57 Sweet Beulah Land 53:07 I'm looking now 53:14 Across the river 53:21 Where my faith 53:28 Will be 53:31 It will end in sight That's right. 53:35 There's just a few 53:43 More days to labor 53:50 And then I will take 53:57 My heavenly flight 54:04 Beulah Land 54:11 I'm longing for you 54:19 And some day 54:25 On thee I'll stand 54:32 There my home 54:38 Shall be eternal 54:46 Beulah Land 54:52 Sweet Beulah Land Sweet Beulah Land 54:57 Sing that chorus one more time. 55:00 Beulah Land 55:06 I'm longing for you 55:15 And some day 55:21 On thee I'll stand 55:31 There our home 55:38 Shall be eternal 55:48 Beulah Land 55:56 Sweet Beulah Land 56:19 Wow. 56:21 Wow. 56:23 Do you long to be in that home? 56:29 The Bible says that Jesus is coming soon, my friends. 56:34 And all these songs that we sing, 56:35 they tell a powerful story, 56:37 a gospel story of a loving Savior 56:43 who has done all that He can 56:45 to save you because He loves you. 56:49 We don't have to die in our sins 56:52 for why should we die for our sins 56:54 when He's already died for them. 56:58 Jesus is just calling you out. 56:59 He's saying all you who labor and are heavy laden, 57:03 come unto me, and I will give you rest. 57:07 Jesus loves you, my friends. 57:09 He shed His blood for you. 57:12 And all you have to do at home is just call out to Him now 57:15 in sincerity and say, Lord, 57:17 create in me a clean heart, oh God, 57:20 and renew a right spirit within me. 57:25 Thank you so much for joining us today. 57:27 God bless you so much. 57:29 We love you all. 57:30 And until next time, we'll see you right back here 57:33 on 3ABN Today. |
