We're blessed. 07:05 Wonderful, Praise the Lord. 07:06 And I have a text that I want to read 07:08 before we get right into our interview here. 07:11 This text is very dear to your hearts. 07:13 And I'll let you talk about it if you'd like 07:15 and we'll get some introductions 07:17 from you guys in just a moment. 07:19 But this is coming from Exodus 34:10, 07:23 powerful text and this is the Lord speaking. 07:25 And it says, 07:27 "And He said: 07:28 'Behold, I make a covenant. 07:30 Before all your people 07:32 I will do marvels 07:33 such as have not been done in all the earth, 07:37 nor in any nation, 07:38 and all the people among whom you are 07:42 shall see the work of the Lord. 07:44 For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.'" 07:50 And I understand Freddy, and Connie, and Victoria, 07:53 the Lord is indeed doing awesome and mighty things 07:57 through the Ministry of Loma Linda Campestre. 08:00 So tell us a little bit about yourselves who you are, 08:03 where you're from, 08:05 and give us a little bit of history 08:07 and some information about what Loma Linda Campestre is? 08:12 I'm Freddy Castro from Colombia, 08:13 we are from Colombia, 08:15 I'm the President of Loma Linda Campestre. 08:18 And we came to win this about 08:20 what the Lord is doing in our mission 08:24 there in Colombia. 08:26 As the Bible reads about the covenant, 08:29 we make a covenant to be faithful in these times 08:32 to spread the gospel through dynamic activities 08:36 that are taking place in our ministry. 08:39 Amen. Amen. 08:41 Connie? 08:43 Loma Linda Campestre 08:44 is a ministry separate from Loma Linda University, 08:48 as people may get confused. 08:49 Right. 08:51 But we just want to make that, make sure that 08:53 that we are located in Colombia, 08:56 just three hours north of Bogota, 08:59 the capital of Colombia, in a rural area, 09:02 beautiful scenery, 09:07 almost like a paradise 09:08 and I worked as a director, 09:11 but we do many different things when the work calls for it. 09:16 So it's a blessing 09:19 to work with the family members, 09:23 and to be grounded in the firm foundation 09:27 of what God wants us to be. 09:31 Not just speaking off, but being living, experience, 09:36 the Christian experience and Christian walk. 09:38 Praise the Lord. 09:40 And while I know that Freddy, you're the president, 09:42 and Connie's the, you guys are the co-founders 09:45 and she's the director. 09:46 I've been of picking Victoria over here about how 09:49 I think she's the real boss of this crew, right? 09:52 Victoria is a student 09:53 and, Victoria, you do a lot for the ministry as well, 09:56 and it's good to have you here with us. 09:58 Thank you. All right. Yes. 10:00 Praise the Lord. 10:01 I am homeschooled. I'm 13 years old. 10:04 And I just feel it's a blessing 10:07 to be able to be in this ministry 10:10 and serve the Lord. 10:12 Amen. 10:13 We're going to talk to you a little bit more about 10:15 what you do at the Loma Linda Campestre. 10:17 But I want to go back to what you said earlier, 10:19 you said it's not, you know, 10:21 I when I thought of Loma Linda Campestre, 10:23 my mind went to Loma Linda, California, 10:25 which is what a lot of people are probably were thinking 10:28 as soon as they heard me say that, 10:30 but you are located in Colombia, 10:32 the country of Colombia. 10:34 So tell us a little bit about 10:36 why you entitled Loma Linda Campestre, 10:38 so you were telling me earlier about it. 10:40 So let's tell our viewers, how do you break that down? 10:42 What does it mean? 10:43 Sure, as you see in the logo, it has like two mountains, 10:48 you may say, but it's really two hands, 10:50 my husband's hands with my hand, 10:53 or God's hand upon ours. 10:56 We can't do anything good without God's help 10:59 and supervision and instruction. 11:02 So as we are faithful to depend on Him 11:05 for instructions to how to serve people here, 11:09 where there is need, we wanted to make it simple 11:14 and something that 11:16 that can have a meaningful image there too. 11:21 Right. Yeah. 11:23 So you were telling me, Loma, Loma means what now? 11:25 Oh, Loma is Hill, Linda, it's beautiful 11:29 and country and Campestre is countryside. 11:32 So a beautiful hill in the countryside. 11:34 I love that. I love that. 11:35 You were talking about the logo, 11:37 I see it on your shirts there, 11:38 the hand over the hand there 11:40 and almost looks like 11:41 two mountain sides or two hills. 11:43 So that's really, really awesome. 11:46 So Loma Linda Campestre, 11:47 so tell us a little bit about the history, 11:50 the origins, how did it get started? 11:52 Because I'm sure you obviously you guys are the co-founders. 11:55 So you know, what is the history of this? 11:57 How did the Lord impress you to start Loma Linda Campestre? 12:01 Actually, we started in 2011. 12:04 We basically start with the food industry 12:07 like making bread, 12:09 peanut butter, granola. 12:13 charcoal, activated charcoal. Okay. 12:15 And we start with the small industry, 12:18 and we deliver those products to the town, closest town. 12:24 And so we start to help those people. 12:28 They need that good food, good nutrition. 12:32 So that's the beginning. Sure. 12:35 And sharing the gospel. And sharing the gospel. 12:38 Sharing the gospel along with the health method. 12:40 Right. That is amazing. 12:42 So as people, you know, you are meeting people's needs. 12:45 And what you're saying actually brings to my mind, 12:48 it's again, I brought this up in many programs. 12:50 And it's saying, it's evangelistic code 12:52 that I live by. 12:53 And that is what Mrs. White calls Christ method alone, 12:57 where He obviously mingled with men 12:59 as one who desired their need, He met their needs, 13:02 and He sympathized with their, with their needs 13:05 and with their situations. 13:07 And then, you know, once He had created 13:08 that relationship with them, 13:10 then He bid them to follow Him 13:13 and that's essentially what 13:14 Loma Linda Campestre ministry is all about, right? 13:16 Meeting people's needs, 13:18 at home in hopes of leading them 13:20 to Jesus Christ. 13:22 Amen. That is awesome. 13:23 And so Colombia, Colombia, you guys live in Colombia. 13:27 I've never been to Colombia. 13:29 I've heard things about Colombia. 13:31 I've seen images, pictures of Colombia, 13:33 but what's it like? 13:34 What's it like living in Colombia? 13:36 Oh, it's just beautiful. You're missing out. 13:40 We have a video of beautiful mountains. 13:44 Just 15 minutes walk from Loma Linda, the ministry. 13:48 It's a beautiful water place. 13:51 There it is. Wow. 13:53 It's just a lot of green, 13:54 lot of oak trees, eucalyptus trees. 13:57 There we are gardening. 13:59 We managed to grow kale. 14:04 I'm sorry. And that's potato. 14:08 So we do a lot of agriculture work. 14:09 And that's our spring water. 14:12 So along with the fertile soil, 14:14 there's a blessing to have a spring water. 14:17 Right. 14:18 It's the most wonderful benefit that we have in this land 14:21 that God have. 14:23 That's amazing. 14:24 We're gonna talk more about that water, 14:25 that spring water you just saw on that little clip there. 14:28 We're gonna talk more about that. 14:29 There's a powerful ministry that these guys have 14:32 that they're establishing currently right now 14:35 with that spring water, 14:36 which we'll talk about in just a moment. 14:37 But I want to get into probably the most interesting thing 14:42 that people are going to experience and witness 14:45 once they come and they visit Loma Linda Campestre. 14:49 If I were to come 14:50 or anyone at home or any guests were to come, 14:53 what is the most interesting thing 14:55 they're going to experience when they come there? 14:57 What's going to draw them? 14:59 The maze. The maze. 15:01 Amazing maze. Amazing maze. 15:03 The amazing maze, I like that. 15:05 I liked it, so you literally have a maze on campus? 15:09 Yes. There it is. 15:10 This maze is made with Eugenia plants. 15:14 These are little trees, or well, they can grow big 15:17 if you want it to, 15:18 but we that people usually make fences with. 15:21 So what God has placed in our hearts 15:24 was to make something interesting, 15:26 something unusual 15:27 that will attract people 15:29 to be able to share the gospel. 15:32 So this maze was planted within two months, 15:37 all four of us were involved. 15:39 My two children, Jonathan is not here, 15:42 but he was present there. 15:45 And it's this, it has a purpose effect, 15:50 people think it's a very touristic area, 15:52 is for touristic, 15:55 aiming to touristic. 15:57 So this is, this picture here would be what it looked like 16:00 in the very beginning? 16:02 In the very beginning. Wow. 16:03 So how long did it take for you like from the very beginning 16:06 to what we saw earlier in that big picture? 16:10 How long did it take to establish that? 16:11 A couple of years. A couple of years? 16:13 A couple of years, yeah, till it was. 16:14 Yeah, look at that. 16:16 Till it was the right height, 16:17 so that people can really get lost in that sea, 16:20 you know... 16:21 That is amazing. 16:23 Each other among the walls. Yeah. 16:25 And so I believe it's, 16:28 it's just a method, 16:31 simple method within the outdoor experience 16:36 that people are looking for in these days. 16:38 Sure. 16:39 Because the crisis is having us be together at home. 16:43 So people really want to come out and be outdoors. 16:47 And so, God in His perfect timing 16:51 that is enabled us to, 16:53 to show this 16:55 and to bring this opportunity for them 16:57 to be encouraged and involved 17:00 and get to know Christ 17:03 and really commit with Christ again. 17:07 Yeah, 'cause I'm thinking, there's a lot of people 17:08 that's going to look at that image 17:10 and see that amazing thing, really amazed like, how, 17:12 how would you use a maze to reach people? 17:16 We're going to talk about that in just a moment. 17:17 But I have to ask the question, 17:19 can we bring back up the picture of the full, 17:21 the full grown set there of the maze? 17:24 The completeness of it. 17:26 So I have to ask, how long do you mean, 17:29 do you have to maintain this thing? 17:30 I'm sure you have to trim it, cut it? 17:31 Trim it. Yes. So how often do you do that? 17:34 And do you get lost in the maze, 17:35 trying to keep it maintained? 17:37 Yes, sometimes I get lost, and well, I relocate. 17:42 Right. Yes. 17:44 It takes every two months. 17:46 I can trim and yes to keep in shape. 17:49 That's amazing. 17:50 So you just go out there, 17:52 does it take you like in one day, 17:53 several days to keep it trim to maintain? 17:56 It take several hours. 17:57 Several hours? Okay. 17:59 That's amazing. Wow. 18:01 That's incredible. So people come to this maze. 18:04 And this is obviously something that you, 18:06 that the Lord put on your heart to create to draw people, 18:09 obviously, they're in nature, 18:10 look at this, this is beautiful. 18:12 They have an opportunity to be in nature 18:14 to go through the maze. 18:15 But obviously, your main purpose, 18:17 your main goal is to lead them 18:19 or to minister to them their needs, 18:22 and to introduce them to the Gospel of Jesus. 18:24 So if I were to come and I would come on campus, 18:27 and I want to go through this maze. 18:29 Let's say before I go into the maze, 18:32 what would my experience be like? 18:34 What would happen first before I go into the maze? 18:37 Okay, we talk about the importance of decisions, 18:41 decision making. 18:43 Okay. 18:44 Because life is about decisions. 18:46 If we do good decisions, 18:51 the rewards are good, that perfect. 18:54 We can have health. Right. 18:57 And peace, but if the decision are wrong, 19:01 it can, you know, go in and even die 19:05 or in the wrong way. 19:07 Right. 19:08 So we emphasize the importance of decisions. 19:12 That's amazing. Life is full of decisions. 19:15 And as you just brought up very clearly, 19:18 just the slightest small decision 19:19 can make a difference in your life. 19:21 And I love the fact that 19:22 it's in connection with the maze. 19:24 Because when, if you've ever been through a maze, 19:26 you know that you have to make the right decision. 19:28 If you're going to get from point A to point B 19:30 and make it through, 19:31 you got to, you know, you got to use your mind 19:33 to make the right decisions on where to go, where to turn, 19:35 or otherwise you might end up in a dead end, right? 19:38 And sometimes we make decisions 19:39 that bring us to a dead end in life. 19:41 But life is full of decisions. 19:43 So you talk to them and minister to them 19:45 about making good decisions in life. 19:48 And so now they're going through this maze 19:50 with this on their mind. 19:52 And so what else would they experience, 19:54 what other type of activities 19:56 or ministry would they experience 19:58 while they're there on campus? 20:00 While we walk to... 20:01 While we walk through the maze, 20:04 there is an opportunity for us 20:06 to not just do the maze, 20:12 but really take a benefit 20:13 from the eucalyptus trees that are there. 20:15 So, we make like stations stops, 20:19 where we teach them and share 20:20 about a loss of health in a practical way. 20:24 Eventually, we want to get to the point 20:27 where they can actually experience more 20:29 of the hydrotherapy 20:31 while walking to the maze 20:33 is not really happening today, 20:36 but we want to eventually get there. 20:38 So we share about how to make vaporization 20:44 like a Russian steam with a eucalyptus leaves. 20:48 The benefits, the great benefits of it. 20:51 We also emphasize 20:53 how to cope with the current crisis, 20:58 what to do, what things do to stay away from, 21:03 and things like that. 21:04 So we get exercise, we get sun, air, pure air 21:09 in the middle of the oak trees, 21:10 you know, we can take away the mask and freeze deep... 21:16 Deep breathing in. Take deep breathing. 21:19 We also want to emphasize into temperance, 21:23 when we're on the maze, 21:26 you know, there is, as we do wrong choices in life 21:30 that we know we're not exempt from them, 21:34 we must come back from them. 21:36 So it's a process in our minds, 21:39 we will remember that that was the wrong path. 21:42 Sometimes we, it so happens 21:46 that the enemy wants 21:47 to take us back to the wrong place. 21:49 So there's, as you said, 21:50 there is a connection there with that 21:53 must be continuing with God 21:56 in order for us to... 21:57 He wants to always take us out of the things 22:01 that we have gotten into, 22:03 because of our own strong will 22:06 if that's, you know, the problem in our character. 22:09 So, and the effectiveness of the practical maze, 22:15 doing the maze, 22:17 going through it. 22:19 And having that experience makes, 22:22 hopefully everlasting, not everlasting, but lasting... 22:26 Lasting impression upon them. Impression in their minds. 22:29 That's amazing. 22:30 So this eucalyptus plant, 22:32 I'm going back to this eucalyptus plant. 22:33 What are some of the benefits that people would learn 22:35 about when they come to your, to your campus there? 22:40 What are some of the benefits that they might learn about 22:42 in reference? 22:43 Because I'm sure there may be someone at home that says, 22:45 what about the eucalyptus plant? 22:46 Maybe share a few things about what would help, 22:48 what the, how the eucalyptus plant helps us? 22:51 Sure. 22:52 Yeah, it helps with a respiratory system. 22:54 You know, as you're breathing, 22:55 it cleans our supply, air supply. 23:00 And it may help to also eliminate bacteria. 23:05 It's antibacterial, antiviral. 23:08 Also, there's a lemongrass that we have also been growing. 23:12 So we are making the essential oils 23:16 from these plants. 23:18 And then people can benefit from them as well. 23:21 Right. And it smells wonderful, right? 23:23 It smells wonderful. That is so cool. 23:25 That is so cool. Praise the Lord. 23:28 So yeah, go ahead. 23:30 What I share with everybody 23:32 has its way of, of experiencing the Christian walk, 23:39 and I really share with people 23:42 how Jesus experienced His, on His last days, 23:47 you know, before He's, He was crucified, 23:51 His love for us to that degree of forgiving others. 23:54 So forgiveness is another way of thinking 23:59 or giving God the opportunity to work in our hearts. 24:02 So we emphasize forgiveness, 24:05 we emphasize love and humbleness 24:08 and longsuffering, 24:09 things that we don't really see out in the world today. 24:13 You know, we're always really drawn to depression 24:16 and to anxiety to, 24:18 you know, all the wrong ways, 24:21 but God wants us to keep control of ourselves, 24:24 to keep in mind that He is in control of our lives. 24:28 And that no matter what happens, 24:32 He will take us to the right path 24:35 if we are to listen and to believe on Him so. 24:38 That's right. Yeah. 24:40 Praise the Lord. People are blessed. 24:41 That's amazing. 24:43 So other than, well, first of all, let me ask this, 24:44 did you, Freddy, design the maze, 24:47 who designed the maze? 24:48 Well, we designed. 24:49 You designed the maze yourselves. 24:51 Wow, that's amazing. 24:53 So from start to finish about how long does it take 24:55 to get through the maze? 24:57 Well, if, let's say our children do it, 25:01 probably two minutes, maybe less. 25:03 Because they know the way. Right. 25:06 Some people takes longer. Sure, sure. 25:09 Some people have been in there lost for like 40 minutes. 25:12 And when we tell them, 25:14 okay, you have 20 minutes to do the maze. 25:15 They're like, "Oh, am I going to really get out of here?" 25:19 Right. Right. 25:20 It's same in life, some people get through the trials 25:24 and temptations, 25:26 and they find Jesus, 25:28 because they listen, they willing to wait. 25:30 Some people, that takes longer 'cause it all depends on... 25:33 That's right. Yeah. 25:35 That's a beautiful object lesson. 25:36 I like that, 25:38 because we're all in a different part, 25:39 a different aspect of our walk with the Lord. 25:42 It seems like some of us are a little further 25:43 along than others, 25:45 but others, but we're all on that path. 25:46 And the most important thing is that we continue to walk, 25:49 continue to move forward,. 25:51 I like that, that's beautiful. 25:52 So there's, you're teaching them 25:54 about the eight laws of health, 25:56 they're learning about this, 25:57 you know, the benefits of eucalyptus plants? 25:59 Is there any other activities or any other information 26:03 that you teach them or that your guests might learn 26:06 while they're there? 26:07 Yes, we do cooking demonstrations with the groups. 26:12 We hopefully want to have food. 26:15 We're out there, you know, there's about 20 to 30 minutes 26:19 from the closest town, 26:20 so there is no food around 26:22 and if they don't bring anything, 26:23 you know, while they're there, they're going to be hungry. 26:26 So we do supply them with nutritious foods, 26:31 fruit juice with without, of course any sugar. 26:34 So, and the good aspects 26:39 of nutrition and well being are really explained. 26:45 Victoria is very knowledgeable 26:49 in making nutritious items. 26:51 So, yeah, pretty nutritious. 26:53 So, Victoria, what kind of nutritional foods do you serve 26:57 there on campus? 26:59 Well, we do a lot of food 27:02 for example, vegan pizza or maybe juicer. 27:06 And that picture, it was pretty hot day. 27:10 So some friends came to the maze 27:14 and it was almost lunchtime. 27:17 So I thought, I like to serve people, 27:21 so I thought maybe we could do something for them. 27:23 So we did a pizza. It was very good. 27:27 And it was with healthy food, onions, pepper, bell peppers. 27:32 I see. Lot of ingredients. 27:34 Wow. Praise the Lord. 27:36 So you help in the kitchen. You help to cook. 27:38 Is there any other things that you do on campus? 27:41 Sometimes when we have to do something at the garden. 27:45 Right. 27:46 Yeah, I saw the video of you, you were going to town on that, 27:48 and the garden pick was, you removing weeds. 27:50 Were you harvesting or you doing? 27:52 Yeah, removing weeds. Nice. Nice. 27:54 That's cool. So you work in the garden. 27:55 Anything else? 27:57 Well, also, I'm homeschooled. 27:59 You're a student, right? Yeah. 28:01 Okay. And you said, you were how old? 28:04 Thirteen. Thirteen years old. 28:06 And you were also telling me 28:07 about a special friend that you have on campus there. 28:10 Yeah, we have a horse. His name is Jumper. 28:13 Jumper. 28:15 He's a horse and his name is Jumper. 28:17 But he probably should be called what, biter, 28:20 because you said he likes to bite, right? 28:21 And he also likes to jump the fences. 28:23 So you got to go, catch him. 28:25 Gotcha. Okay. 28:27 Well, Jumper, 28:28 I'm sure is an important part of the ministry as well. 28:31 Oh, praise the Lord. 28:32 We appreciate what you guys are doing, 28:33 that is amazing. 28:35 So I want to get into... 28:36 First of all do we have, do we have some more pictures, 28:39 maybe you can show us some more of these pictures 28:40 that we haven't seen 28:42 and walk us through 28:43 what we're seeing in these pictures? 28:44 Sure. 28:46 At the end of the activity in the maze, 28:49 we also make sure that every family gets a book, 28:53 Steps to Christ, Great Controversy. 28:56 For example, these ladies are there just received 28:59 a message as to young people 29:02 that they earn while answering questions 29:05 that we went over on our steps 29:09 through the, as we go to the maze, 29:12 as we went to the maze. 29:13 So in this other picture it was, it was boring that day 29:17 and during middle of crises, they call the pandemic. 29:21 But there were so much enjoying 29:24 the spiritual message we were giving 29:26 that everyone was without the mask 29:28 and you know just really consecrating the moment there 29:34 to focus on Christ to connected with Him. 29:37 So that's the most important and beautiful lesson. 29:41 I can share a testimony there on that picture. 29:43 This one here or the previous one? 29:45 Yeah, one here. This one, okay. 29:46 The man just laying down on the grass 29:49 are our group work in agriculture. 29:52 They work on the potato field. 29:55 And so their hands are full with, you know, dirt. 29:59 They had all their hands full with dirt. 30:02 So I thought, okay, this will be a great opportunity for us 30:05 to, and they were just sitting there, 30:06 we didn't ask them to lay on the grass, 30:08 they just relax. 30:11 They can teach us many lessons of, 30:12 you know, how to be, how to feel happy 30:16 and be complete among in nature, 30:21 in the countryside. 30:23 So, so I demonstrated how to do an episode that, 30:25 sorry, the salt glow in their hands, with my son. 30:29 And so they did it among themselves. 30:31 And they felt so good. 30:33 It was nothing that they have ever done before. 30:36 And it absolutely blessed them. 30:37 And then we continue on with a tour to the, 30:42 you know, the activity, maze activity. 30:45 So they really felt a blessing. That's amazing. 30:47 Praise the Lord. 30:49 All right, so, okay, what's happening here? 30:51 Okay. 30:53 We have a model of the sanctuary, so. 30:56 I can see it there in the picture. 30:57 Yes, it's a couple that came and some neighbors. 31:01 And we were teaching about the sanctuary message, 31:06 importance of what the Lord is doing, 31:09 what Jesus is doing in this specific time 31:12 and this hour, in behalf of our salvation. 31:15 Praise the Lord. 31:17 You know, the door is about to close. 31:21 We have to draw near to Him and look for the salvation 31:26 that He's offered us free. 31:29 Amen. That's right. 31:31 Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. 31:33 By the way, we want to make a bigger model 31:35 of this sanctuary, 31:37 so that larger groups of people can come 31:40 to really learn and get deep into the study 31:42 of what the sanctuary means for us today. 31:46 That's amazing. 31:47 Yeah, because David tells us in Psalm 77:13, 31:50 "Thy way, oh, God is in the sanctuary." 31:53 And Jesus says, you know, He's referring to Himself, 31:55 "I am the way, the truth and the life." 31:57 So Jesus and the gospel, 31:59 the salvation message of the gospel 32:01 is found in the sanctuary. 32:03 So seeing those people there 32:05 being ministered to about the sanctuary. 32:07 And then if you, if you get this, 32:08 of course, then I believe you will, 32:10 this bigger model of the sanctuary, 32:11 it's going to minister to so many people 32:13 about the path that God wants us to be on. 32:16 And so it's powerful to see 32:18 that your ministry is not only providing 32:21 a recreational aspect, 32:22 a fun aspect of just being out in nature, 32:25 being with family. 32:27 They're learning about the eight laws of health, 32:29 they're receiving the bread of life 32:30 through the Word of God. 32:32 And now I want to, 32:34 I just want to kind of transition here 32:35 just for a moment. 32:37 Not only do they receive the bread of life, 32:39 the food, but they also get some fresh water. 32:42 And you guys were telling me about the water out there. 32:45 And this is just special to me, I think it's just awesome. 32:49 So tell us a little bit about this water project 32:51 that you have? 32:52 And you know about what the water conditions are, 32:55 you know, commonly in Colombia there where you are? 32:57 Yeah. 32:58 Well, this is a tremendous blessing. 33:01 That lab results were taken to this spring water 33:05 and physical, chemical and microbiological test, 33:08 and they were excellent results. 33:14 So we pretty much don't have to do much 33:16 of the filtering process for this water, 33:18 just a minimal required by law. 33:22 And we wanted to really offer this water to the people nearby 33:28 because they really don't have a clean source of water. 33:32 Sure. 33:33 The places there in Chiquinquirá 33:35 and their surrounding communities 33:37 use the source, 33:39 a very polluted source of water, 33:41 so they would continually play it on the radio. 33:44 Please don't drink out of the faucet, 33:46 don't use the water to cook. 33:48 So they always have to purchase water. 33:50 So it was like a contaminated type of water 33:52 that might make you sick. 33:53 Yes. Correct. Okay. 33:55 So our aim is to really provide not just the blessing 33:59 of pure drinking water, 34:01 but the blessing of connection with God. 34:04 We want to be able to minister to these people 34:06 that that God is overseen, 34:10 He is looking that, that we have other benefits 34:14 that we can get here from Him, 34:17 that we don't have to look any further. 34:19 He has things that we are, we are His children, 34:24 we are His love. 34:25 We are his aim. So it's a blessing. 34:28 It is amazing, as you're telling about this 34:30 how you're providing this clean, fresh water, 34:34 of course, my mind goes to John Chapter 4. 34:37 John Chapter 4, where Jesus has the conversation 34:39 with the woman at the well, right? 34:41 Where He says, give me a drink. 34:42 And eventually she says, you know, you're a Jew, 34:46 and you're asking me to give you a drink. 34:47 And Jesus says to her, 34:49 if you knew the gift of God 34:51 and who it was who says to you give me a drink, 34:53 you would have asked him and he would have given you 34:56 living water, living water. 34:59 And that's essentially Jesus is the fountain of life, 35:02 He is the living water. 35:03 And that's essentially well, obviously, 35:05 the word, the water you're giving Jesus goes on to say, 35:07 you'll thirst after drinking this water, 35:09 but drink of the water that I provide, 35:11 and you'll never thirst again. 35:12 But essentially, what you're doing is 35:14 you're providing people a healthy source of water. 35:16 And I understand that not only are you providing this to them, 35:20 but you have plans to filter this water 35:23 to be able to mass distribute this water 35:26 to more and more people. 35:27 So tell us a little bit about your plans 35:29 for the filtering process and all that? 35:31 Yes, we are thankful 35:33 that ASI has funded our, this project 35:37 and be able to, to provide a water bottle, 35:43 you know, we want to be able to bottle water 35:46 in different sizes, 35:47 so that people in the community 35:49 can be blessed by it. 35:51 And, of course, have a message of salvation there, 35:56 which is very important. 35:57 That's what we aim for. 35:59 Just as we did with the other variety of products 36:01 that we have been putting out in the market, 36:04 which was still, which we still do. 36:08 It's a process and it's an opportunity, 36:10 a great opportunity for us to, to commune with them 36:13 to share our faith, to live, 36:17 you know, to show by the example of living, 36:21 what we are doing 36:22 and how God is changing our hearts and our lives. 36:25 That's amazing. 36:26 Yeah, and there's no doubt that you're doing that, 36:27 people are coming there, not only having a fun, 36:31 you know, recreational experience, 36:32 but they're being educated in so many different ways. 36:35 In fact, one of the ways 36:36 I mean not only are they getting educated 36:38 on the eight laws of health 36:39 and, you know, this drinking of this clean water 36:43 and being educated and all those aspects, 36:44 you know, healthy, healthy eating, 36:46 but you were telling me also that you guys create 36:50 and make your own activated charcoal. 36:53 And I thought that was just awesome. 36:55 So for some of you who don't know what this is, 36:57 because I know there's probably someone watching 36:59 who's never heard this before. 37:00 And I'll never forget the first time 37:02 I heard someone say, 37:03 oh, you just take some activated charcoal 37:04 and my mind, I was thinking like, 37:06 these people eat barbeque briquettes, 37:09 you know, that you're barbecuing. 37:10 But that's not technically the type of charcoal 37:12 we're talking about. 37:14 So tell us a little bit about 37:15 what is activated charcoal 37:16 and how, you know, you guys make it? 37:18 You know, how do you make it and what are the benefits? 37:21 And why would people want to ingest or take in 37:24 activated charcoal? 37:26 I'm in charge of cutting the logs 37:28 and make a whole ground and put the logs 37:33 and put fire 37:34 and then I can cover with leaves. 37:37 And finally I cover with clean soil. 37:40 Right. So when start to burn. 37:44 It takes about two or three days 37:46 depends the amount. 37:48 So I'm in charge of that. 37:49 And after it's finished, I take the coals 37:53 and I grind it 37:55 and sieved, and repackaged, 37:58 and she's in charge of delivery. 38:00 So she has been doing a great work 38:03 and good contacts. 38:04 Sure. 38:05 Even to the hospitals, 38:07 we've been delivering that to the hospital, 38:09 they have been asking for charcoal 38:11 to help with that intoxications 38:14 to with alcohol, 38:18 drugs for even pharmaceutical drugs 38:21 that they take it up from the counter. 38:26 And the blessings, 38:28 the many blessings that charcoal has 38:30 is that, you know, 38:32 with all type of venoms from, 38:36 venom from insects, scorpions. 38:39 'Cause you guys have scorpions there, right? 38:41 Some places. That's amazing. 38:44 So venom like snake bites, scorpion stings, 38:47 kind of insect, poisonous insect or... 38:50 Even fatty foods and grease, 38:53 eat too much sweet from desserts, 38:55 things like that can get us sick, 38:57 and charcoal is really helpful 39:01 for this types of situations. 39:03 That's amazing. 39:05 So I want to go back to this creation process 39:06 because you put all this leaves on top, 39:08 you put all the soil on top of these, these logs? 39:11 And what kind of logs and what is it? 39:14 Eucalyptus, coconut, pine. Right. 39:17 Okay, so then basically what it's, 39:19 what's happening is it puts it through basically 39:21 like a dehydration process, 39:23 where it's pulling the moisture, 39:24 I understand is pulling the moisture out of the log, 39:27 is that was that my understanding of it 39:29 because it comes out kind of like 39:30 a really light brittle char, right? 39:34 Where you grind it up. 39:35 You grind it up into a powder, 39:37 and so and then you take this powder, 39:40 and then once you ingested it, it pulls or guide it, 39:44 basically traps, 39:45 absorbs and traps all the toxins 39:47 or whatever it is it's in your body 39:48 that's hurting you or making you sick. 39:50 Right. 39:51 It actually at source to not give in, give out again, 39:55 because there's two different terms 39:57 and this is just to absorb and that's how it is, 40:01 it takes in all the metals or the bacteria, 40:06 everything there is. 40:08 It's an amazing substance, and you guys make it 40:09 and you teach people about this. 40:11 Right. 40:13 And I'm sure you probably, 40:14 do you have people that come to campus, 40:15 and they've never heard of it. 40:17 And they don't know what it is? 40:18 Absolutely. 40:20 So we're sharing this over and over again. 40:21 And people are amazed. 40:23 They say, wow, they go and search for it. 40:25 And, of course, sure enough, 40:26 they find it because it's what they filter water with. 40:30 Sure, right. 40:31 That's amazing. 40:32 So yeah, did you want to say something? 40:34 Yeah, what makes it activated charcoal is that 40:37 when you burn the charcoal, like the wood, it's dry wood. 40:43 When you burn it, what makes it activated 40:45 is that it burns without oxygen. 40:48 So that activates the charcoal. 40:50 And that's because if you do with like just burn it without, 40:55 with it having oxygen, it won't be activated. 40:58 Right, so would just be ashes, right, burnt wood. 41:02 You don't want to eat burnt wood, right? 41:03 That's amazing. Praise the Lord. 41:05 So let's talk about... 41:07 Do we have any, I think we had actually 41:09 a few more maybe video clips or pictures 41:11 that you guys wanted to share? 41:13 I'd like to see them all 41:14 because I'm, I haven't got to see all of them yet. 41:16 But tell us what's happening here? 41:17 Yes. 41:19 But we have a beekeeping department. 41:21 So I'm in charge of that, 41:24 this area's special for polling flowers. 41:28 So we harvest the pollen, we upgrade. 41:32 And also we sell the pollen. 41:34 So those sources help us to the incomes 41:38 and also for the good nutrition that we can have. 41:40 Sure. 41:42 The self supporting institution. 41:43 It's wonderful, wonderful. All right. 41:45 Do we have any more pictures or videos? 41:47 All right. 41:49 Yeah, this is the beginning of the water plant facility 41:52 that we were funded through ASI. 41:55 And these were the beginnings really under heavy rain, 41:59 but God sustained us through it. 42:02 The construction workers were faithful to come in 42:05 even to this harsh conditions. 42:08 And there are some more pictures, 42:10 as we reach various people from the community 42:16 that were helping us with the electrical part. 42:20 From Chiquinquirá coming in on a motorcycle. 42:22 There is the builder there. Uh-huh. 42:25 And they started in February, 42:30 late February, almost March. 42:32 And is pretty much done now. 42:36 All they're doing right now is working on the floors 42:41 and this inside ceiling right now 42:44 is pretty much what is left. 42:46 We're hopeful. 42:47 Hopefully we will be ready with filters 42:51 and the tanks ready to start purifying the water 42:55 from anywhere from September to November. 42:58 We hope to have this done by then. 43:01 And be able to provide this precious water. 43:04 Yeah. That's amazing. 43:05 You guys have such an incredible ministry. 43:07 They're reaching so many people in many different aspects 43:10 of not just healthy living and lifestyle 43:12 but with the Gospel of Jesus and it's powerful. 43:15 So I assume that you have people, 43:17 tons of people that come and visit. 43:20 Yeah, I'm sure you have testimonies 43:21 and stories about how this ministry 43:23 has positively affected your visitors. 43:26 Yes, we keep that registry at the beginning. 43:30 We just have their names and numbers 43:33 and their email, 43:34 so that we can send them a free course 43:37 on a study that has to do with Quiero vivir sana 43:43 which is, I want to live healthy 43:44 which is hosted by the church, 43:47 and we also work together with laypeople 43:50 to continue on their focus onto for them 43:56 to have either Bible lessons or some other questions 43:59 related to their spiritual life. 44:02 So there's several young, well, several ladies 44:07 that want to come in with groups. 44:09 They have enjoyed themselves so much the maze 44:13 and the activities done there, 44:16 the lessons learned, the spiritual lessons, 44:19 and I guess what they're doing right now is sharing, 44:22 okay, there's a maze, we have to come, 44:24 you need to come with me, 44:26 so they bring this big groups of people. 44:29 And I'm pretty sure they are not there, 44:31 not saying anything about the spiritual part yet 44:33 until they really hear it 44:35 because people really aim to do tourism, 44:39 and they come and by some. 44:41 And so, we get the higher, 44:45 the higher blessing or the bigger blessing 44:47 by looking at all these people 44:48 how God is working in their hearts, 44:52 helping us to bring more people, 44:54 and we're not doing any type of advertisement. 44:56 They're doing all the advertisement themselves. 44:59 Sure. 45:00 Just through Facebook and what's happening anyway, 45:04 and they're bringing on. 45:05 They're bringing for us 45:07 all these precious souls that we see, 45:08 we've been serving 45:10 more than 2000 people 45:12 for lapse of probably six months. 45:16 So we are, we are very, we have been very busy 45:19 during this time of pandemic, because... 45:22 That's amazing. People going out. 45:24 And now, I mean, obviously, 45:25 the pandemic still here with us, 45:26 but things are starting to kind of slowly 45:29 but surely open back up. 45:30 I can imagine that this thing's gonna 45:32 as you get the plant, the water plant in 45:35 and your projects begin to open up and expand. 45:37 You guys are going to be feeding 5000 people 45:40 before you know it, 45:41 you got enough pizza for that, Victoria. 45:42 You got enough. 45:44 You're gonna be praying for the Lord to work a miracle 45:45 to multiply that vegan pizza for everyone. 45:50 Amen. Praise the Lord. 45:51 So, Victoria, I have to, I just have to ask you 45:54 what's your favorite thing to do on campus? 45:56 On the campus there of Loma Linda Campestre? 45:59 Well, I like to serve people, I like to help. 46:03 But I really enjoy exploring like finding new little places 46:08 like in the forest during the waterfalls, 46:10 finding new waterfalls that we didn't know. 46:12 Nice. So it's very nice. 46:15 I love it. It's a wonderful. 46:16 So the waterfall that we saw in the picture at, 46:18 is that on your campus or near? 46:20 Yes, near. Oh, it's near. 46:22 It's near. So is that? 46:23 Is that actually a part of the spring? 46:25 Or is that different from the spring? 46:26 It's different from the spring. 46:29 But there is a spring also, 46:30 there's a little not as big 46:33 as this one waterfall on the property. 46:36 We don't have a picture. 46:38 But yeah, here with us, but it's very, very beautiful. 46:43 So do you have guests to come and swim and like, 46:45 run under the waterfall? 46:47 Or is that just for you guys? 46:48 Yeah, it's just for like them? Just for you guys. 46:51 I'm sure you run under that waterfall all the time. 46:53 Yeah. I knew it. 46:55 And also, I must say, that she's very creative. 46:58 She's always looking 47:00 into collecting little pieces of wood 47:02 and making little bicycles, 47:04 little people with the oaks. 47:06 You can share. 47:08 One day I was, I saw some pictures online 47:11 of people making like little people 47:16 with oak materials like the wood, the acorns. 47:20 So I thought, why couldn't I do it? 47:22 So I went to the forest and I grabbed, 47:24 you know, sticks and wood and acorns. 47:28 So I did. Yeah. 47:29 Little bicycle, mini-bicycle. 47:31 Wow. Yeah. 47:33 So it's, for example, when you go to the creek, 47:35 we get some round rocks. 47:37 Yeah, I'm always picking flowers 47:38 or leaves or rocks. 47:40 Yeah. Right.
