00:25 Hello, friends, welcome to 3ABN Worship Hour.
00:28 I'm Pastor John Lomacang. 00:29 And I want to thank you for taking the time to join us 00:33 for a very thought-provoking topic 00:35 entitled, "The Faith of Jesus." 00:39 Before we go into the Word, 00:40 I'd like to encourage you to maybe invite your friends 00:43 and if you're watching from home, 00:45 just pray for the Lord's presence 00:47 to be with you, 00:48 but if you're with the group of individuals 00:50 gathered together now as we open God's Word 00:52 to find in it the message 00:54 and the courage that we need, 00:56 Let's bow our heads and ask for God's guidance 00:59 and for the Holy Spirit's presence. 01:01 Precious Father in heaven, 01:03 we put our lives in Your hand 01:05 and now as You become the power, 01:08 the active energy, the active agent, 01:12 we pray that You will send Your Holy Spirit, Lord, 01:15 to speak to me and through me. 01:17 And I pray that You'll bring Your Word to life 01:21 to find fertile soil in our hearts and minds 01:23 of those who are listening. 01:25 I pray in Jesus' name, amen. 01:30 The faith of Jesus, 01:31 let's catapult into the topic 01:32 with a scripture in Revelation 14:12, 01:36 a very familiar scripture, 01:38 but a very timely one describing. 01:41 If I were to summarize the sermon, 01:43 it is about what kind of faith 01:45 that the people of God are going to need 01:47 to face the challenging times ahead of us. 01:50 And after we read the scripture, 01:52 I'll describe briefly 01:53 what kind of world we're living in, 01:56 unless you've been living under a rock, 01:57 you know, the world is changing rapidly. 02:00 But let's begin by looking at Revelation 14:12. 02:05 John the Revelator 02:07 starts with these very startling 02:08 and direct words. 02:09 He says, "Here is the patience of the saints, 02:13 here are those who keep the commandments of God 02:16 and the faith of Jesus." 02:19 My brethren, these times are not ordinary times. 02:24 The COVID-19 climate has drastically altered 02:28 the routines of our lives. 02:30 Normalcy has been deleted as it were. 02:34 The world as we know it 02:36 is being reconstructed to re-enslave 02:40 the population of humanity. 02:43 And like a frail, 02:44 distracted child playing in the path 02:46 of a vicious stampede. 02:48 The world is asleep to its approaching destruction. 02:53 If you stop and pause 02:55 and think about what's happening, 02:57 you will discover that religious 02:59 and political leaders 03:01 are activating demonic measures to cripple humanity. 03:06 They are devising ways 03:07 to become the conscience of the world. 03:10 That's why John the Revelator says, 03:12 the patience of the saints. 03:13 In times like these, 03:15 the people of God are going to need patience 03:17 to make it through the atmosphere 03:20 and the society that's being reconstructed 03:23 as we breathe. 03:25 The monetary system, 03:27 the monetary leaders of the world are merging. 03:30 And they are merging to snatch away the things 03:33 that we have labored hard to secure. 03:36 Financially, economically, politically and religiously, 03:39 the world is being barbed wired together. 03:43 And I can tell you today that the intentions 03:46 are anything but pure. 03:48 Conventional attitudes, my friends, 03:50 and established customs 03:53 that created in us 03:54 a sense of uninterrupted security 03:57 have given way to pandemonium and uncertainty. 04:02 That's the kind of world we're living in today, 04:04 a world that's uncertain on every side, 04:07 a world that does not gift us with faith and trust, 04:10 a world that says to us, whatever world you came from, 04:14 you're not heading to the same kind of world. 04:16 It calls once again for the patience 04:18 and the faith of the saints. 04:21 You find also, 04:22 just recently the political intensity 04:24 that was displayed on America stage. 04:27 Then you add to that the unyielding pandemic 04:31 challenging world leaders. 04:32 Then you add to that, 04:34 the religious lockdown that has arrested the world, 04:38 each of these independently but together 04:40 are omens of a prophetic tsunami 04:44 that's on the horizon of humanity. 04:47 But I believe sometimes God gives disaster 04:50 and turmoil permission, 04:52 so that it can reveal to us 04:54 the kind of faith that we need. 04:56 It can reveal to us the arsenal of the earth 05:00 that's marshaled against us. 05:02 And God is saying 05:03 through these disasters and turmoil, 05:05 the church has to wake up to the times in which it lives. 05:10 When I think about the atmosphere 05:12 that's being constructed, 05:14 I believe that somewhere written 05:16 in the eschatological agenda, 05:18 there is a divine recommendation 05:21 from heaven. 05:22 And heaven is saying, 05:24 it's time to intensify the training of the saints. 05:27 It's time to get the saints ready 05:29 for what's coming. 05:31 And I'll tell you, friends, 05:32 as we were told by inspiration, 05:34 the final movements that are coming together 05:37 are going to be rapid ones. 05:39 Wake up to the times in which we live. 05:41 When I think about it, 05:43 the only evidence that I can cite 05:45 for these ancillary disasters 05:48 are found in the often overlooked 05:50 and ignored words of the Apostle Peter. 05:53 We read in 1 Peter 4:12-13. 05:55 Notice what Peter contributes to the times in which we live. 05:59 He says, "Beloved, 06:01 do not think it strange 06:04 concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, 06:08 as though some strange thing happened to you." 06:13 But then he adds in verse 13, 06:14 "But rejoice to the extent 06:17 that you partake of Christ's sufferings, 06:19 that when His glory is revealed, 06:22 you may also be glad with exceeding joy." 06:26 You see, the Apostle Peter reminds us 06:30 that exceeding joy is the finished product. 06:34 Notice what he says, exceeding joy. 06:36 He says, "You're going through fiery trials. 06:38 But don't forget, 06:40 exceeding joy is the finished product." 06:43 But exceeding joy is being developed 06:47 amidst its fiery trials and strange things. 06:51 And only those that endure the fiery trials 06:55 and the strange things 06:57 will one day experience 06:58 the finished product of exceeding joy. 07:01 And I can say with certainty, 07:04 2020 has been a year of fiery trials 07:09 and strange things. 07:11 In the minds of so many of us, 07:13 the phrase six feet has been heard and echoed 07:17 and advertised and publicized six feet apart we are told, 07:22 social distancing at a time 07:26 when we must be drawing nearer and nearer to the Lord. 07:29 2020 has been a year 07:31 of fiery trials and strange things. 07:34 And that's why I say only by God's grace, 07:36 are we still alive today, 07:38 to listen to God's urgent message, 07:41 calling us to be ready for what lies ahead. 07:45 We find in the writings of the Apostle Paul, 07:48 he talks about not only what's coming, 07:51 but he talks about 07:52 how God is still sustaining His people 07:55 in trouble sometimes like these. 07:57 Listen to His words. 07:58 2 Timothy 4:8-9, he says, and I apply this to 2020, 08:04 "We are hard-pressed on every side, 08:07 yet not crushed, we are perplexed," 08:12 and yes we are, "but not in despair, 08:15 persecuted, but," 08:17 thank God, "not forsaken, struck down, 08:20 but not destroyed." 08:22 Notice the contrast. 08:24 We are hard pressed on every side, 08:26 yet by God's grace, we are not crushed. 08:28 We are perplexed 08:30 but, brethren, by God's faith in His Word 08:32 that we can rely on. 08:34 We are not in despair. 08:35 There's persecution on the left and on the right, 08:37 but God has not forsaken us. 08:39 And sometimes we feel struck down, 08:41 but praise the Lord, we are not destroyed. 08:44 Then we listen to the Apostle James, 08:47 as he also reveals that in this quagmire, 08:50 in this vortex of a changing world, 08:53 there is a method to the madness. 08:56 There's a reason why God is allowing the world 08:58 to be in the swirl that it's in, 09:00 you notice hurricane season more active 09:03 than ever before in recorded history. 09:05 The rising crime rates in cities, 09:08 people losing grip on life, 09:11 many people not able to cope 09:13 with the environment 09:14 that they're forced to be sequestered in. 09:16 Some people locked in their homes 09:18 becoming voluntary prisoners, 09:20 because they just can't fit. 09:22 They just can't make sense of how the world is changing, 09:26 and how it's locking us down to something 09:28 that is now being termed the new normal, 09:31 even with phrases such as the political phrases 09:34 build back better. 09:36 Many people don't understand that those three words mean 09:40 that the world is being reconstructed 09:42 whether we know it or not. 09:44 And we are being placed on a conveyor belt 09:47 to a destiny that's outside of our control. 09:50 The Apostle James says to us, 09:53 there's something behind all of that. 09:55 He says in James 1:4, 09:57 "But let patience have its perfect work, 10:02 that you may be perfect and complete, 10:04 lacking nothing." 10:06 James is saying, be patient, 10:08 because there's some place where there's still order. 10:11 There's some place 10:12 where there is still reliable promises 10:15 that we can trust that's in the kingdom of God. 10:18 That's in the Word of God. 10:19 While the world is crumbling in heaven, 10:22 God is still in control. 10:25 When you think about it, 10:27 in the examination of God's Church, 10:29 God sees something in His people that are lacking. 10:33 That's why I believe He allows fiery trials. 10:37 That's why I believe He allows strange things. 10:40 That's why with His hand on the cord, 10:44 God is still holding back the winds of strife. 10:46 He is saying to His people, feel the intensifying winds, 10:51 it's time to not play church any longer. 10:53 Feel the intense changing political climate, 10:57 feel the closing in financial markets around us, 11:01 it is time to wake up 11:02 and fully dedicate our lives to Christ. 11:05 God is examining His church, 11:07 and He's wanting His people to be on target ready 11:12 for what is about to break upon the world 11:14 as an overwhelming surprise. 11:17 Through the words of inspiration, 11:19 God's servant, Ellen White says to us in the book, 11:21 Testimonies for the Church, volume six and page 14, 11:25 she says the following words. 11:27 Listen to these words. 11:30 She says, "Events are changing 11:32 to bring about the day of God which hasteth greatly. 11:37 Only a moment of time, as it were, yet remains. 11:42 But while already 11:43 nation is rising against nation, 11:46 and kingdom against kingdom, 11:48 there is not now a general engagement. 11:51 As yet the four winds are held 11:53 until the servants of God 11:55 shall be sealed in their foreheads. 11:59 Then the powers of earth 12:01 will marshal their forces for the last great battle." 12:07 What battle is that? 12:09 The Battle of Armageddon. 12:11 The final battle between light and darkness, 12:13 between truth and error. 12:15 It is being constructed today. 12:17 The stage is being built. 12:19 The final forces are coalescing together. 12:22 The forces of hell and the forces of earth 12:25 are looking at each other's agendas, 12:27 trying to figure out what measure is best 12:30 to shake the faith of God's people. 12:33 But, my brethren, the day that is approaching 12:36 is a day when the forces of earth 12:39 will meet in the final confrontation 12:42 with the forces of heaven. 12:43 I praise God that I can read God's Word 12:45 and know how it's going to end. 12:47 I praise God that I can pick up the Bible and say, 12:49 I don't have to guess 12:50 how the story is going to wind up. 12:52 I've read the back of the book, 12:54 and it ends with two words, Jesus wins. 12:57 Now He's already won at the cross. 12:59 But, my brethren, 13:01 the faith and the patience of the saints is needed. 13:04 The faith of the saints is needed. 13:07 The patience of the saints is needed to hold on. 13:10 As Jesus says in Matthew 24, 13:12 "He that endures to the end shall be saved." 13:16 These times, these present times 13:20 will separate the committed from the non-committed. 13:23 The church, I believe, 13:25 is going through a time of sifting. 13:28 You know, I'm like, I like to read books, 13:29 I like to begin to add components into a message 13:33 that gives us a sharpening understanding 13:36 of how God sees His people. 13:39 I studied that during World War II, 13:41 a special grade of soldiers were being developed by NATO, 13:45 the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. 13:47 These were specifically designated, 13:51 they were organized, they were trained, 13:53 they were equipped 13:54 with the most unconventional tactics, 13:57 techniques and mode of military employment. 14:00 Integrated in their training was a curriculum 14:04 that was intended to develop 14:06 the following areas of military exploits. 14:09 They were taught about airborne operations, 14:12 counter insurgency, counter terrorism, 14:15 foreign internal defenses, 14:19 covert operations, direct action, 14:21 that's hand to hand combat, hostage rescue, 14:24 high value targets, intelligence operations, 14:28 which God wants His people to be intelligent, 14:31 mobility operations, how to keep moving with God, 14:34 but never become disconnected 14:37 and also unconventional warfare, 14:39 understanding 14:41 that these are unconventional times, 14:43 but God still has in His armor, 14:45 the armor sufficient for the days in which we live. 14:48 If you glance at those terminologies 14:51 that we use 14:52 in the United States Armed Forces, 14:54 you may have heard of these specialized forces. 14:57 On one side they will call the Navy SEALs 15:00 commonly known simply as SEALs. 15:03 They were expertly trained to deliver highly specialized, 15:08 intensely challenging warfare capabilities 15:12 that were beyond the means 15:13 of the standard military forces. 15:16 Then on the other side, there were the Delta forces, 15:19 also known as special forces involved in special operations. 15:24 Now, the Supreme function of these soldiers as it were, 15:27 were to defend and protect the interest 15:30 of the United States of America through unconventional means. 15:36 Well, the reality about both of these forces is this. 15:39 Members of both units were known as, get this, 15:43 quiet professionals 15:46 that were notorious for being massively secretive. 15:51 They were known as the ever-ready soldiers. 15:55 Now I like to dabble into military language. 15:57 But when I discovered something, 15:59 I discovered that in the preparation 16:01 for the Battle of Armageddon, God has ever-ready soldiers. 16:08 God has specialized forces. 16:12 God has people 16:15 that He's getting ready for unconventional warfare 16:19 against the forces of darkness. 16:21 And, my brethren, let me say 16:22 the best way to get ready for that 16:23 is to study God's Word. 16:25 God's Word is like a two-edged sword. 16:28 And there is not a weapon that was ever created 16:31 that can withstand the power 16:33 of the two-edged sword of God's Word. 16:35 Specialized forces, God has ever-ready soldiers. 16:40 These men and women are no ordinary Christians. 16:44 And their primary purpose 16:45 is to defend and protect 16:47 the interests of the kingdom of heaven 16:50 through spiritual measures, 16:54 not military measures, spiritual measures. 16:57 What kind of spiritual measures do you mean, Pastor John? 16:59 By an act of prayer life, by a study life, 17:02 by a witnessing life, 17:04 by a life dedicated to being on target, 17:08 to being focused, 17:09 to understand that this here and now 17:11 is not all that there is, 17:13 to understand that beyond the fight 17:14 there is a victory, 17:16 to understand beyond the valley of the shadows of death, 17:18 there's the kingdom of God, 17:20 the house of the Lord waiting for us forever. 17:22 These are soldiers that are determined 17:24 not to bow to the forces that call for compromise. 17:28 These men and women have a relationship 17:31 that in shaking times, they remain unmoved. 17:34 God is calling for ever-ready soldiers. 17:38 But right now, 17:40 since you can't know who they are, 17:42 to you, they may be quiet professionals. 17:45 They may be individuals that you have not met, 17:47 but God is holding them in reserve. 17:50 And when all of the forces of darkness 17:53 are marshaled against the forces of light, 17:56 these will step to the forefront 17:58 because they are being trained in Bible study, 18:01 trained in their daily prayer life, 18:04 trained in their devotional life, 18:07 trained in their commitment to Christ, 18:10 they are being trained for the most intense battle 18:14 of the ages, 18:15 the battle that's just ahead of us. 18:19 You see, friends, it's Satan's purpose 18:21 to keep Christians 18:23 from developing the faith of Jesus. 18:25 It is Satan's highest priority 18:28 to keep us unprepared for what lies ahead. 18:32 It is Satan's determination 18:34 to create Christians 18:35 that intentionally ignore the commandments of God, 18:39 hoping that they'll still be ready. 18:41 But according to the passage, 18:43 you've got to be obedient to be ready, 18:46 to be a patient saint, to be a faith filled saint, 18:50 you also have to be an obedient saint. 18:53 When I look at what's happening, 18:54 I was reminded 18:56 that no matter what's taking place 18:58 around the world, 18:59 no matter what's happening in politics in America, 19:01 or in Europe, or in Asia, or in the Caribbean, 19:04 or in Australia, 19:05 no matter what's happening around the world, 19:07 God reminds us 19:09 that His purposes still will be accomplished. 19:14 Look at Isaiah 46:9-10. 19:17 God always has the final say. 19:20 He says to us through the Prophet Isaiah, 19:23 "Remember the former things of old, 19:25 for I am God, and there is no other, 19:28 I am God, and there is none like Me, 19:32 declaring the end from the beginning, 19:35 and from ancient times 19:37 things that are not yet done, saying," I love this part, 19:41 "'My counsel shall stand, 19:44 and I will do all My pleasures.'" 19:48 Whenever I read that passage, it says to me, 19:50 no need to worry. 19:52 No worries, as they say in Australia, 19:54 no need to be concerned, God is still in charge. 19:57 Amen to that. 19:58 God is not able to be voted out. 20:01 Nobody's going to take His seat 20:03 because He sits high and looks low. 20:05 He is on the throne that is eternal. 20:08 But He sets men up and He brings them down. 20:11 But I want to say today, 20:12 it is completely beyond Satan's pay grade 20:16 to prevent God's plans from being fulfilled. 20:19 You may have missed that. Let me say it again. 20:21 Satan is not capable. 20:24 There's nothing that he can do 20:26 to prevent the plans of God from being fulfilled. 20:30 When you think about God's word, 20:32 the many statements of Jesus confirm the fact 20:34 that Satan cannot prevent heavens agenda 20:37 from being accomplished, 20:39 because God will finish what Satan has started, 20:44 God will always have the last word. 20:49 Let's look at some reasons why I know that. 20:52 Let's go back to the time 20:53 when Jesus was unjustly being interrogated, 20:56 and He was standing before the high priests. 20:58 And Matthew 26:63 tells us 21:00 that the high priest demanded 21:02 that Jesus respond to Him. 21:04 He said to Jesus, "If you are the Christ, 21:06 are you the Christ, the Son of the living God." 21:08 And Jesus said in Matthew 26:64, 21:11 listen to the words of Jesus, 21:13 as He was being interrogated 21:15 to confirm whether or not He is the Christ. 21:17 Look at what He said in Matthew 26:64, 21:20 "Jesus said to him, 21:22 'It is as you said. 21:24 Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter," 21:27 notice the next two words, 21:28 "you will see the Son of Man 21:30 sitting at the right hand of the Power, 21:33 and coming on the clouds of heaven." 21:34 Notice the words. 21:36 How do I know that Satan cannot prevent 21:38 God's agenda from being accomplished? 21:40 The words that Jesus said in that passage, 21:43 you will, you will, 21:45 meaning I may look arrested now, 21:47 but the day is coming, 21:48 when there will be no shackles on my hand, 21:51 there'll be no thorns of crown on my brow. 21:54 There'll be no nails through my hand, 21:56 I'm going to be free. 21:58 And you will see 21:59 the other side of this scenario. 22:01 So, my brother and sister, 22:03 when the days come 22:04 that your faith is being challenged, 22:07 when the days come that it doesn't seem like 22:09 there isn't any end in sight, 22:11 or that the world is squeezing your faith out. 22:14 Remember that Jesus said, beyond the cross is the crown, 22:18 beyond the persecution is the preparation 22:21 for the celebration of the ages, 22:23 beyond His trial is a triumph. 22:25 And the same is true for every one of us. 22:27 But you have to hang in there. 22:28 You got to pray and work, 22:30 and study and commit yourself 22:32 to hold on to the faith of Jesus. 22:34 And why does He call it the faith of Jesus? 22:36 Because it's not humanly born, it is divinely born. 22:40 It is a faith that does not come 22:43 from having a good diet. 22:46 As good as a good diet is, 22:48 this faith is not developed by a good diet. 22:51 It's not developed by a great exercise program, 22:54 although it's good and very necessary 22:57 to have a good exercise program. 22:59 This is a faith that's born through the trials of Jesus 23:03 that He is willing to impart to His children 23:07 to get them ready for what's ahead. 23:09 I know that the Lord will come back, 23:11 I know that He will finish what He promised 23:13 because He said to His persecutors, 23:15 you will see. 23:17 But let's look at another example. 23:19 Looking down to the time 23:20 when Jesus will reward His saints 23:23 with that eternal compensation. 23:26 Listen to what He said in Matthew 25:23. 23:30 Look at what He says, 23:31 "Well done, good and faithful servant, 23:34 you have been faithful over a few things," 23:38 look at the next two words, 23:40 "I will make you ruler over many things. 23:45 Enter into the joy of your lord." 23:49 Notice again, 23:50 He said to His persecutors, you will. 23:52 He said to those who are being faithful, I will. 23:55 That is a forward-looking statement. 23:58 In spite of what it looks like now, 23:59 those of you in the crowded cities 24:01 that are congested in traffic jams, 24:04 congested wondering how and when 24:07 and if you're going to catch COVID-19, 24:09 those of you that are terrified 24:11 when you see people coming 24:12 that are coughing and sneezing, 24:14 God is saying, hold on. 24:15 It's not always going to be that way 24:17 because the greatest blessing is yet to come. 24:20 I will make you ruler over many things, 24:24 if you just simply hang in there. 24:26 You also find that when Jesus was sealed in the tomb, 24:30 and His executioners were quite sure 24:32 that He would not come out, notice what they said. 24:36 This is an amazing statement. 24:37 Matthew 27:63. 24:40 Another statement of confirmation. 24:42 They said, "Sir, 24:44 we remember while He was still alive, 24:47 how that deceiver said, 24:50 'After three days, I will rise.'" 24:55 Look at that. What a powerful statement. 24:57 Sometimes your enemies will testify 25:00 to the certainty of your approaching victory. 25:04 They crucified Jesus, but they could not, 25:07 they could not dismiss the possibility 25:10 that He's not in there permanently. 25:12 He's going to come out somehow, someway or another. 25:16 He said He will rise again. 25:17 And I want to tell you today, 25:19 we know that what Jesus said is true. 25:20 He ever lives 25:22 to make intercession for you and me, 25:24 He did rise again, praise God, 25:26 and He is our intercessor in the heavenly sanctuary. 25:30 But notice the two words 25:32 that we continue to see coming back, 25:33 you will, I will, I will. 25:35 The certainty that what Jesus started, 25:39 He will finish. 25:42 One more example. 25:43 Finally, when Jesus successfully rose 25:46 from the tomb on the third day, 25:48 and He was preparing to ascend to heaven, 25:50 His words once again confirmed Satan's inability 25:55 to prevent heaven's agenda from being fulfilled. 25:58 Look at John 14:3, the words, 26:01 the forward-looking words of the promises of Jesus. 26:04 He said to His disciples, 26:07 "And if I go and prepare a place for you," 26:11 here it is again, 26:12 "I will come again and receive you to Myself, 26:16 that where I am, there you may be also." 26:20 Notice, you will, I will, I will, I will continuously... 26:24 What are we saying? 26:25 The Lord is saying, 26:27 when He makes a statement, I will, 26:29 that is a forward-looking statement. 26:31 He is saying, 26:32 regardless of the fact that I'm leaving, 26:34 I will come again, regardless of my persecution, 26:38 I will rise again, regardless of my accusations, 26:41 I am the Son of God, 26:42 and you will see me 26:43 coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 26:46 You see, brethren, those with the faith of Jesus 26:49 are not looking for some new political agenda 26:52 that's being surmised or created by earthly powers. 26:56 We put our faith and trust in the unwavering Word of God. 27:03 I know that we just came through an election 27:05 that just caused some people's face to twist 27:08 and their hearts to stutter. 27:10 Some people got rashly angry on one side, 27:13 and people were bewildered on the other. 27:16 People were putting their hope in one man or the other. 27:19 But I wanna tell you today, 27:20 I put my hope in nobody but Jesus Christ. 27:23 I put my hope in nobody, but the one who has never lost. 27:25 Why? 27:27 He says to me, 27:28 make your calling and your election sure. 27:31 The only election 27:33 that the saints need to be concerned about 27:35 is making sure that they are a part 27:37 of the election of grace, 27:39 that when the time comes, 27:41 you must know that Jesus Christ 27:44 has cast a vote 27:46 in favor of having you in His kingdom eternally. 27:49 That is the election 27:51 that causes you to embrace the faith of Jesus. 27:56 So, friends, today, 27:58 we stand on the unstoppable declaration 28:02 of Jesus and what is that? 28:03 I will come again, I will rise again. 28:08 Praise God for that. 28:09 But the Apostle Paul, 28:11 he could not keep himself outside of this scenario. 28:14 Notice what he says in Philippians 1:6, 28:17 he also contributes to the faith of Jesus. 28:21 He says, my brethren, in Philippians 1:6, 28:23 "Being confident of this very thing, 28:27 that He who has begun a good work in you," 28:31 notice a forward-looking word again, 28:33 "will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. 28:38 Oh, I love that phrase. 28:39 You see, 28:40 sometimes we don't look like Christ. 28:43 Some days, we don't sound like Christ. 28:46 Some days, we don't behave like Christians. 28:49 Some days we don't talk like Christians, 28:51 or maybe do things as a Christian should. 28:54 But the Lord is saying, I'm not done with you yet. 28:57 The work that I began in you, I will complete it, 29:00 because I've got a day of completion 29:02 that I focused on. 29:03 It's called the day of Jesus Christ. 29:06 As the Apostle John says, 29:08 it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. 29:10 But we do know that when He is revealed, 29:13 we shall be like Him. 29:15 I want to tell you, even as a pastor, 29:17 those words encouraged my heart. 29:19 Because no matter how many sermons I preach, 29:21 I can't preach my way into the kingdom. 29:24 I've got to get under the grace of Christ. 29:26 I too must hold on to the faith of Jesus. 29:29 I cannot rely on the things of earth. 29:31 I too must walk the same path that you walk with the patience 29:35 and the faith of the saints. 29:37 But I too must be obedient to the commandments of God 29:40 because they are not separated from patience and faith 29:44 connected to the saints of God in the last days. 29:46 The Apostle Paul continues to remind us 29:49 that the work that Christ has started 29:51 will be completed. 29:54 Look at Romans 9:28. 29:56 Romans 9:28. 29:58 He says to us today, 30:00 "For He will finish the work 30:03 and cut it short in righteousness, 30:06 because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth." 30:12 I read that passage and I said, "Thank You, Lord." 30:15 I couldn't take 200 more years of this stuff, 30:17 even though I can't live for 200. 30:20 How much more can you take, my brother? 30:23 How much more can you take, my sister? 30:25 Find your comfort 30:27 in the words of the Apostle Paul, 30:29 the Lord will make a short work upon the earth. 30:33 It's going to get rough, 30:35 but the roughness is going to be short, 30:37 the joy is going to be permanent. 30:38 The joy, the blessings are going to be eternal. 30:41 The rescue from this planet in rebellion 30:44 is going to be forever and forever. 30:48 God's going to finish the work that He began, 30:50 He's going to cut it short for righteousness sake, 30:53 and the Lord is going to make a short work upon the earth. 30:56 That's why, friends, the faith that resides in Jesus 31:00 will also reside in His end times people. 31:04 Only the faith of Jesus can sustain us 31:08 up to and through the final conflict. 31:12 How do I know that? 31:13 There're lot of people that have doctrinal integrity, 31:16 but let me make it very clear today. 31:17 Doctrinal integrity is not enough to sustain us. 31:21 We are not sustained by academic attainments. 31:24 We are not sustained by intellectual stimulation. 31:27 We are saved by spiritual transformation. 31:31 And that only comes through the faith of Jesus. 31:35 How does that happen? 31:37 Colossians 1:27 gives us a glimpse 31:41 into how spiritual transformation 31:45 can get us ready for the days that lie ahead. 31:48 The Apostle Paul says in Colossians 1:27, 31:52 speaking about the saints, He said, 31:54 "To them," notice the two words, 31:56 "God willed to make known 31:59 what are the riches of the glory 32:02 of this mystery among the Gentiles," 32:04 what is it, "which is Christ in you, 32:08 the hope of glory." 32:10 I love that. 32:11 Not money in the bank is our hope of glory, 32:14 not a stable paid off real estate lot, 32:17 not a solid education, 32:19 or possessions that we don't even have 32:21 the ability to keep track of. 32:23 What is it? 32:24 Christ in us is the hope of glory. 32:26 Christ in your life, Christ in your daily life, 32:30 Christ in your thoughts, Christ in your actions, 32:33 Christ in the transformation of your character. 32:35 And I know that we are not yet 32:37 where God knows we're going to be, 32:38 but praise the Lord, we are not where we used to be. 32:42 The faith of Jesus is unrelenting, 32:45 is looking into the nooks and crannies of our thoughts 32:47 and lives and actions 32:49 into our words and deeds and saying 32:51 that we still need to be chiseled, 32:53 we still need to be sanded down, 32:56 we still need to get ready to one day look like Jesus. 33:01 In the book Desire of Ages, page 677, paragraph one. 33:05 Notice these encouraging words. 33:07 We are told, 33:09 "The life of Christ in you 33:11 produces the same fruit as in Him. 33:15 Living in Christ, adhering to Christ, 33:19 supported by Christ, 33:21 drawing nourishment from Christ, 33:24 you bear fruit 33:25 after the similitude of Christ." 33:27 Notice, notice that statement, 33:30 adhering to Christ, living in Christ, 33:32 supported by Christ, 33:33 drawing nourishment from Christ. 33:35 If Christ is your source, 33:38 it is impossible to have fruits that's different from Christ. 33:42 If you are connected to Jesus, 33:43 it's impossible to be anything but like Jesus. 33:48 That's where the faith of Jesus is formed. 33:50 The faith of Jesus is not formed in ease. 33:53 It was chiseled through unjust accusations. 33:57 Jesus became pure 33:59 through the furnace of affliction. 34:02 And the reality is, 34:03 some of us are going to have to go 34:06 through the furnace of affliction. 34:08 But don't fear the fire. 34:09 Just pray that on the other side, 34:10 you come out like purified gold. 34:13 As one writer said, 34:14 "The refiners fire 34:16 has now become my soul's desire." 34:18 And God has said 34:20 He's going to purify His church. 34:21 He's going to purify us in the furnace of affliction, 34:24 not that He wants to burn us up, 34:27 but He wants to ignite our lights. 34:29 He wants to clean us up. 34:30 He wants to remove from us every sense of impurity, 34:34 getting ready to exhibit to the world, 34:37 the faith of Jesus. 34:41 That's why on the heels 34:42 of the most urgent messages to humanity, 34:45 the three angels' messages, 34:47 Revelation paints a vivid picture 34:49 of those that stand on the podium of the victory. 34:53 Those that gain victory over the mark of the beast, 34:57 over his name, over his number. 34:59 Those that gain the victory over everything 35:03 that Satan has thrown their way. 35:06 How do they gain victory? 35:07 Because they have on the whole armor of God. 35:10 How did they gain the victory? 35:11 Not because they fought their way through, 35:13 but they put themselves in the presence of Christ 35:16 and every battle that the saint go 35:18 through the battle belongs to the Lord. 35:21 But when we stand 35:22 on the podium of the final victory, 35:24 you will find standing there 35:26 those that are resolute in a vacillating society. 35:30 Today, they are a vivid representation 35:34 in a vacillating society. 35:36 They are a vivid representation 35:38 of those that are sold out to Jesus Christ. 35:40 They are categorically 35:42 and undeniably soldiers of an eternal kingdom, 35:47 unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, 35:50 unapologetic for the truth as it is in Jesus Christ, 35:55 undaunted by the heckling of Satan's fiercest allies. 36:01 One day, friends, reverberating 36:03 through limitless space and time, 36:05 you'll find a description of God's elite soldiers 36:11 covered by the faith of Jesus. 36:13 Come with me. 36:15 Let's peek behind the curtain 36:16 and see how the Bible introduces them. 36:19 Revelation Chapter 14, 36:21 we find verse 4 and 5 gives us a description 36:24 of God's elite soldiers. 36:26 "These are the ones 36:27 who were not defiled with women, 36:30 for the Bible says, for they are virgins. 36:32 These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. 36:36 These were redeemed from among men, 36:39 being firstfruits of God and to the Lamb. 36:44 And in their mouth was found no deceit, 36:48 for they are without fault before the throne of God." 36:53 What does all that mean? 36:56 What does that mean? 36:57 These are the ones heaven's quiet professionals 37:02 that are quiet no longer. 37:04 Their lives and their lips reveal and proclaim 37:08 the faith of Jesus to a crumbling world. 37:11 You know what, friends, I want to be in that group. 37:13 I want to be a part of those 37:15 when the world is looking for light, 37:16 that they can turn to my life 37:17 and see that God's light is shining 37:20 through my actions, 37:21 that God's light is shining through the way I live, 37:24 through the things I say, 37:26 through the way that I exemplify myself 37:29 in a shaking society, 37:30 that I will remain unmoved in an unstable world. 37:35 No longer quiet, 37:36 but looking for opportunities 37:38 to proclaim goodness to the Lord. 37:40 Recently, I was on the elevator. 37:43 In a town, I won't tell you exactly where. 37:46 But I was going to meet my wife who was getting her hair done. 37:50 And as I entered the elevator, 37:52 there was a young lady on the elevator. 37:54 And I was singing a song 37:56 in preparation for my sermon that night. 37:58 But I was singing I guess a little loudly 38:00 and people that were waiting in the foyer 38:01 for the elevator heard it. 38:03 And when she stepped on the elevator, 38:04 she says was that you singing and I caught myself. 38:07 I thought I had gotten to the ground floor. 38:09 But I just gotten to one floor below where I was standing. 38:12 And she said that was a lovely song. 38:14 What song was that? 38:16 And I said, well, it's a song I wrote entitled, never alone. 38:18 And tonight I'm going to be talking 38:20 to young people, 38:21 encouraging them to give their lives to Jesus. 38:24 And she looked at me and I had my glasses on. 38:26 She said, "Oh, the moment I looked at you, 38:28 I realized I forgot my glasses." 38:30 And when she turned, 38:32 I saw printed on her mask on her COVID mask, 38:36 Church of Satan on her mask. 38:41 And I said, 38:43 "Does it say agnostic Church of Satan 38:46 on your mask? 38:47 She said, "Yes." 38:49 She says, "I'm a member of the Church of Satan." 38:50 And immediately in my mind, I said, boom, 38:53 witnessing opportunity, witnessing opportunity. 38:56 And I said to her, 38:58 "How can I find out more about what that means?" 39:01 And she said, "You want to find out?" 39:02 I said, "Well, how can I find out?" 39:03 Well, we made it to the ground floor. 39:05 And I said, "What's your email?" 39:07 I got an email. 39:08 "What's your name?" I got her name. 39:10 And I spoke to the local pastor, 39:12 a good friend of mine, Pastor John Stanton. 39:14 And I said, I got an email for you 39:15 and I got a name. 39:17 I believe that that young lady 39:18 became a member of the Church of Satan 39:20 because she had never had an encounter with the man 39:22 called Jesus. 39:24 You see, friends, in the last days, 39:26 God does not need quiet soldiers. 39:29 God is not looking for quiet professionals. 39:32 God is looking for those that are willing to speak up 39:36 and to speak up for the kingdom of God 39:38 to know that in this war, 39:41 in this final battle, 39:42 there are those that still need to be rescued. 39:47 Satan is trying to claim precious lives. 39:50 And God is saying, 39:51 "Let my faith in your life means something. 39:54 Don't be ashamed of the gospel." 39:56 What does it mean when it says 39:58 they were not defiled with women? 39:59 That means they were not corrupted 40:01 by false doctrines. 40:02 They were not corrupted 40:04 by those who aim for popularity and financial gain. 40:07 They were a part of the remnant. 40:10 They take their stand with a message 40:12 that infuriates and frustrates Satan's dark kingdom. 40:17 That's why they are virgins, undefiled. 40:19 The Bible says 40:20 they were not defiled with women. 40:22 But it also says for they are virgins, 40:24 what does that mean? 40:25 They are true to one man alone. 40:29 They remain loyal to no one other than the man, 40:33 Christ Jesus. 40:34 They are impenetrable. 40:37 They have on armor that cannot be broken through. 40:39 Why? 40:40 Because the faith of Jesus is their shield. 40:44 They are virgins, 40:46 meaning they have been undefiled. 40:49 They listen to a thus saith the Lord, 40:51 they trust God's Word and God's Word alone. 40:54 Their minds are not a dumping ground 40:56 for philosophy and ideologies 40:58 that conflict with a thus saith the Lord. 41:02 But to understand what's ahead, 41:05 we've got to look at what's behind us. 41:07 You see, the faith of Jesus is the ingredient 41:10 that separates failure in our past 41:13 from success in our present and in our future. 41:16 But how do we get that success? 41:18 Where do we find that success? 41:20 How does that success lead us to develop the faith of Jesus? 41:24 Notice the words of the Apostle John 41:26 in 1 John 5:4, 41:28 notice what he says. 41:29 "For whoever is born of God," John says, 41:33 "overcomes the world. 41:35 And this is the victory that has overcome the world, 41:40 our faith." 41:41 Wow, did you get that? 41:42 The victory that overcomes the world, 41:45 simply two words, our faith. 41:48 I've been talking about the faith of Jesus. 41:50 But how does the faith of Jesus become our faith? 41:54 Simply put, we become His children. 41:56 If He is our Father, and we're His children, 41:59 we become instant inheritors 42:01 of what rightfully belongs to Christ. 42:04 We become instant inheritors of His righteousness. 42:07 So therefore, His faith now removes our faith, 42:10 our faith is replaced by His faith. 42:13 And that is an overcoming faith 42:15 because those in the hall of faith 42:18 were members of these special forces. 42:21 When you read the Bible, 42:22 you discover that throughout the ages, 42:24 from the beginning of time to the present, 42:26 there are those that chose not to be sold out, 42:30 there are those that said 42:31 regardless of the call of the wild, 42:34 regardless of the call of the enemy, 42:36 regardless of the agenda of society, 42:38 I'm going to stand firmly. 42:40 And heaven introduces these unvacillating soldiers 42:46 in a single statement 42:47 in the Book of Hebrews Chapter 11. 42:49 Let's look at verse 1, the hall of faith, 42:52 the members of the special forces, 42:54 the faith of Jesus, the Bible says, who are they? 42:57 "Now, faith," Hebrews 11:1, 43:00 "is the substance of things hoped for, 43:02 the evidence of things not seen." 43:06 Let me make it very clear, my brothers and sisters. 43:09 Faith is not developed in the checkout line. 43:12 It is developed by daily training your mind 43:14 in God's Word. 43:16 As Romans 10:17, says, look at what it says. 43:19 "So then faith comes by hearing, 43:22 and hearing by the word of God." 43:24 You cannot have faith without studying God's word. 43:27 You cannot be ready for what's coming 43:28 unless your mind is being molded by a plain 43:31 thus saith the Lord. 43:32 And finally, 43:34 when everything else around us is failing, 43:35 only the authenticity of God's Word, 43:39 the veracity of God's Word, 43:41 the surety of God's Word will sustain us 43:44 through the trials and the battles 43:46 just ahead of us. 43:47 In Great Controversy, 1888 edition, 43:50 page 593, paragraph 2, 43:52 listen to what Ellen White says. 43:54 She says, notice, 43:55 "None but those who have fortified 43:58 the mind with the truths of the Bible 44:00 will stand 44:02 through the last great conflict." 44:04 Notice she says none. 44:06 But those who have fortified the mind 44:09 with the truths of the Bible will stand 44:10 through the last great conflict. 44:13 Notice what she didn't say. 44:14 She didn't say none, but those who own a Bible, no. 44:17 You can have a box of cereal and starve to death 44:20 if you don't eat it. 44:21 You can have nutritious food surrounding you 44:24 and die emaciated, 44:26 because you refuse to allow your body 44:28 to be affected 44:30 by ingesting that which will give you strength. 44:32 What am I saying? 44:33 When God's Word is studied, 44:35 you begin to develop a faith and a walk with God 44:38 that will not be developed any other way. 44:40 That's why the Book of Hebrews is the hall of faith. 44:43 It talks about those whose faith carry them 44:47 through the most trying times. 44:48 Now why do I think that's important? 44:50 Because there were difficulties in the past. 44:53 When we look 44:54 at the determination of their faith, 44:56 we find courage for those things 44:57 that are yet ahead of us. 44:59 Look at Hebrews 11:32-40, 45:02 what a powerful retinue 45:03 of those who stood firmly 45:05 and they had the faith of Jesus. 45:07 The Bible says, "What more shall I say? 45:10 For the time would fail me 45:12 to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, 45:15 also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 45:18 who through faith subdued kingdoms, 45:20 worked righteousness, obtained promises, 45:24 stopped the mouths of lions." 45:26 Verse 34, "Quenched the violence of fire, 45:29 escaped the edge of the sword, 45:31 out of weakness were made strong, 45:33 became valiant in battle, 45:35 turned to flight the armies of the aliens." 45:38 Verse 35, 45:39 "Women received their dead raised to life again. 45:42 Others were tortured, 45:45 not accepting deliverance," why? 45:48 "That they might obtain a better resurrection." 45:51 But it keeps going. 45:52 Verse 36, "Still others had trial 45:54 of mockings and scourgings, yes, 45:57 and of chains and imprisonment. 45:58 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, 46:01 were tempted and slain with the sword. 46:03 They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, 46:07 being destitute, afflicted, tormented." 46:10 Verse 38, 46:12 "Of whom the world was not worthy. 46:14 They wandered in deserts and mountains, 46:16 in dens and caves of the earth." 46:18 And finally, verse 39, 46:20 "And all these, 46:22 having obtained a good testimony 46:24 through faith, 46:26 did not receive the promise." 46:27 And look at verse 40. 46:29 "God having promised something better for us, 46:33 that they should not be made perfect apart from us." 46:37 What a list. 46:39 What a list of people that went through stuff. 46:43 Now get this. 46:44 If they can go through that, 46:46 and wait for a better resurrection, 46:48 my brethren, you haven't seen anything yet. 46:50 You haven't been sawn into, 46:51 you haven't been imprisoned and chains and stoned 46:54 and walking around in goatskins and destitute, 46:58 we haven't seen anything yet. 46:59 But God is saying, 47:01 if you can look back and find soldiers 47:03 that endured the things of the past, 47:05 oh, my brother, the same God, 47:07 they trusted in the same God you can trust 47:09 and the same one 47:11 that gave them strength to hang on 47:13 is the same Christ 47:14 that could give you strength to hang on today. 47:16 What kind of faith that they have? 47:17 A faith that look 47:19 beyond the trial to the triumph. 47:21 A faith that look beyond the persecution 47:24 to the preparation of the celebration 47:26 of faith that refuse to lay down, 47:28 they stood up 47:29 in spite of what could happen to their lives. 47:33 But in the closing scenes of the kingdom, 47:36 Jesus is looking for that group, 47:38 once again, 47:39 those that refuse to turn back 47:41 in the face of sacrifice and challenge. 47:45 Those that know 47:47 that beyond the valley of shadows, 47:48 awaits the house of the Lord, 47:51 where we will have joys forevermore, 47:54 those that realize 47:56 that hardship is a short season. 47:59 But heavenly joy is eternal. 48:02 Praise God for that. 48:03 I'm looking forward to those days. 48:05 I'm looking forward to the greater thing 48:07 that's on the horizon. 48:08 I'm telling you today. 48:10 Yes, there's COVID-19. 48:12 Yes, there is instability in the economy. 48:15 Yes, in the minds of some they still don't know 48:18 who the next president is. 48:19 But I want to tell you today, 48:20 I know who's on the throne of the kingdom of God. 48:23 I know who's interceding for me today. 48:25 And His name will never change. 48:27 He is the only victorious one 48:30 that I need to remain connected to. 48:33 And I find these words 48:35 in a very inspired text from Ellen White, 48:39 she says in the book Bible Training School, 48:41 March 1, 1909, paragraph three. 48:43 Listen to what she says. Paragraph three. 48:46 She says, "I am sure 48:48 Satan with his hellish agencies, 48:51 is striving his best to dishearten and discourage, 48:55 but we must not be discouraged, neither must we fail. 49:00 We must suffer loss and be spoken against, 49:03 and have false witness born against us, 49:06 and take it patiently for Christ's sake. 49:09 One thing is sure," she says, "God is true." 49:13 Amen for that. 49:15 "We may lean heavily upon Him, 49:17 and we shall not become confused 49:19 amid the Babel of voices. 49:21 We must put on armor, and keep it on. 49:25 Then what? 49:26 Fight manfully," she says, "the battles of the Lord, 49:30 and having done all," I love this, 49:32 "stand ready for another conflict. 49:35 We must keep in harmony, taking the whole armor of God. 49:40 We must have increased faith and move forward, 49:46 carrying this banner of truth," and what is it? 49:50 The commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." 49:55 Boy, that's a mouthful, but I hope you didn't miss it. 49:59 What are we being told 50:00 is these are not ordinary times. 50:03 These times call for a faith far beyond ordinary faith. 50:08 These times call 50:10 for the calibration of our mission, 50:12 for the sharpening of our vision, 50:14 for the recommitment 50:15 to an agenda that will never fail. 50:17 These are not ordinary times. 50:20 But neither is Jesus an ordinary God. 50:22 He is the same yesterday, today and forever. 50:25 And when we think about Christ, we can say, in Christ alone, 50:30 I place my trust, 50:32 in Christ alone I have that blessed assurance. 50:36 No other one but Jesus. 50:38 Friends, the day is coming, 50:40 when we are going to be able to stand before Christ 50:42 and say thank you for fighting the battle for me. 50:45 I'm going to invite Tim to come 50:47 and I'm going to invite Ryan to come. 50:49 And as you're listening to the song, in Christ alone, 50:52 I pray today that you will be thinking, 50:55 what can I do? 50:56 How can I find my anchor in the faith of Jesus? 51:00 How can the Spirit of God move me to be obedient 51:05 to the cross of Christ? 51:06 In Christ alone, 51:09 that's the only place that we will find 51:12 the victory that is awaiting us. 51:14 Listen to the words of the song 51:16 and after the song 51:17 I'm going to have an appeal for you stay by. 51:19 I want you to know that before this broadcast is done, 51:22 there's something today that you must do. 51:25 Listen to the words of the song, 51:27 "In Christ Alone." 51:33 In Christ alone will I glory 51:38 Though I could pride myself in battles won 51:44 For I've been blessed beyond measure 51:48 And by His strength alone 51:51 I overcome 51:56 Oh, I could stop and count successes 52:00 Like diamonds in my hands 52:06 But those trophies could not equal 52:10 To the grace by which I stand 52:16 In Christ alone, I place my trust 52:23 And find my glory 52:25 In the power of the Cross 52:30 In every victory, 52:34 Let it be said of me 52:38 My source of strength 52:42 My source of hope is Christ alone 52:52 In Christ alone will I glory 52:57 For only by His grace 52:59 I am redeemed 53:03 Only His tender mercy 53:07 Could reach beyond my weakness 53:10 To my need 53:15 Now I seek no greater honor 53:20 Than just to know Him more 53:25 And to count my gains and losses 53:28 To the glory of my Lord 53:35 In Christ alone 53:39 I place my trust 53:42 And find my glory 53:44 In the power of the Cross 53:49 In every victory 53:53 Let it be said of me 53:57 My source of strength, my source of hope 54:04 In Christ alone 54:08 I place my trust 54:11 And find my glory 54:13 In the power of the Cross 54:19 In every victory 54:23 Let it be said of me 54:27 My source of strength 54:30 My source of hope 54:33 Is Christ alone 54:38 My source of strength 54:41 My source of hope 54:49 Is Christ alone. 55:01 Amen. 55:02 What a powerful testimony, in Christ alone, 55:06 my brothers and sisters. 55:09 Thank you, Ryan. Thank you, Tim. 55:11 That's our declaration. 55:13 How are you going to have the faith of Jesus? 55:16 The answer was in the song, the answer was in the message, 55:19 in Christ alone. 55:22 I want to say that again. 55:25 Because in this nation 55:26 that still split on so many levels, 55:29 it has even affected the church 55:30 where people and the environment 55:33 that has shaped the way that society thinks, 55:36 has poured also in the minds 55:38 of many of our church attending members. 55:41 They've lost their compass, they are angry, 55:45 they're frustrated, 55:46 because they have forgotten 55:48 that there's only one agenda that we must remain true to. 55:50 That's the agenda of Christ. 55:52 The unchanging Word of God. 55:55 It's time to put down politics. 55:58 It's time to put down the things of the world 56:00 that are designed to do nothing, 56:02 but distract us 56:04 and give our hearts and minds to Christ again. 56:07 It's time to be a people of reconciliation, 56:10 to not be a person on the left, or person on the right, 56:14 but to recognize that on the wings of the eagles, 56:17 both wings are needed for us to soar 56:21 on the glory of the righteousness of Jesus. 56:26 I was listening recently about an article 56:28 that one pastor said, 56:30 I'm a purple pastor, the Christian color purple, 56:33 a purple pastor preaching to blue Christians 56:36 and red Christians. 56:37 He says, "What can I do?" 56:40 And the thought came to my mind, 56:41 well, if the color of Christianity is purple, 56:45 and the color of one party is blue, 56:47 and the color of the other party is red, 56:48 if you merge blue and red together, 56:51 you get the color purple. 56:54 What am I saying? 56:55 My brothers and sisters, abandon the left and the right, 56:58 and stand with the man in the middle. 56:59 His name is Jesus. 57:01 These are not ordinary times, 57:03 but we don't serve an ordinary God. 57:05 In Revelation 14:12 reminds us once again, 57:08 when it's all over and it's all said and done, 57:11 here is the patience of the saints. 57:13 Here are they that keep the commandments of God 57:15 and the faith of Jesus. 57:17 May you pray for the faith of Jesus 57:20 and do your part, 57:21 that when Jesus comes you will be in the armor 57:25 of none other than the faith of Jesus. 57:28 God bless you. |
