05:04 The angels beckon me 05:06 From Heaven's open door 05:09 And I can't feel at home 05:12 In this world anymore 05:39 All right on the chorus. 05:40 O Lord, you know 05:44 I have no friend like you 05:47 If Heaven's not my home Then Lord what will I do? 05:53 The angels beckon me 05:55 From Heaven's open door 05:58 And I can't feel at home In this world anymore 06:05 I can't feel at home 06:08 In this world anymore 06:17 That's a great song of encouragement. 06:19 I remember working in a church 06:21 where we had a nursing home ministry, 06:22 and we would go to that nursing home 06:24 and take request, 06:26 and there is one lady that would request that song, 06:28 "This world is not my home" time after time. 06:31 Every time we went, she would request that. 06:33 And she wouldn't sing on any other song 06:35 but when we got to that song she would sing out, 06:37 and you could tell that this world 06:39 was truly not her home. 06:41 I believe that each one us can identify with that, 06:44 especially if we claim Christ as our savior 06:47 because He proves His friendship to us 06:49 and I know that I love to be with my friends, 06:52 and so I long to be with my Jesus 06:53 wherever He is. 06:55 So we'll sing this song. 07:04 What a friend 07:07 We have in Jesus 07:13 All our sins and griefs 07:17 To bear! 07:21 What a privilege 07:25 To carry 07:29 Everything to God 07:33 In prayer! 07:37 O what peace 07:40 We often forfeit 07:46 O what needless pain 07:50 We bear 07:54 All because 07:57 We do not carry 08:03 Everything to God 08:06 In prayer! 08:11 Have we trials 08:14 And temptations? 08:19 Is there trouble anywhere? 08:27 We should never 08:30 Be discouraged 08:35 Just take it 08:37 To the Lord in prayer! 08:43 Now, can we find 08:46 A friend so faithful 08:52 Who will 08:54 All our sorrows share? 09:00 Jesus knows 09:03 Our every weakness 09:08 Just take it to the Lord 09:13 In prayer! 09:16 Sing it out loud. 10:26 Let's just sing one more now. 10:28 I don't know 10:32 About tomorrow 10:36 I just live 10:39 From day to day 10:44 I don't borrow 10:48 From the sunshine 10:52 For its skies 10:55 May turn to gray 11:00 I don't worry 11:04 O'er the future 11:08 For I know 11:11 What Jesus said 11:16 And today 11:19 I'm gonna walk beside Him 11:24 For He knows 11:27 What is ahead 11:32 Many things 11:36 About tomorrow 11:40 I don't seem 11:43 To understand 11:48 But I know 11:52 Who holds tomorrow 11:56 And I know 12:00 Who holds my hand 12:04 O many things 12:08 About tomorrow 12:12 I don't seem 12:16 To understand 12:21 But I know 12:26 Who holds tomorrow 12:31 And I know 12:35 Who holds my hand 13:00 So be encouraged, friend, 13:01 this world is not our home. 13:03 We have a friend in Jesus, 13:05 He loves us and He cares for us 13:07 and He wants you to make it home with victory. 13:10 Be sure and stay tune, 13:11 we have a dear friend coming to call us 13:13 and to stay tuned and watch it. |
