00:02 Gospel music is known for its harmony, 00:04 four part male of quartets, mixed groups, 00:08 families that sing together, 00:10 that's the best kind of harmony in my opinion. 00:12 I was raised in the singing family 00:14 and I have several friends 00:15 that travel singing that are families, 00:18 and I have today on the line a dear set of friends, 00:23 there are three of them and they are sisters, 00:25 and that is who they are, 00:27 that's what they're called, Sisters. 00:28 And so let's talk to them and ask them 00:29 what music means to them. 00:31 Sisters, are you there? 00:33 We're here. 00:35 Awesome. Nice to see you. 00:36 Hey, great to see you Heather, Kim, Valerie. 00:39 Thank you for taking some time out of your busy schedules. 00:43 You're welcome. 00:44 Yeah, you travel and you sing, 00:47 and tell me a little bit of what that's like, 00:49 what's like traveling with your sisters? 00:52 It's awful. 00:55 We've traveled with our family our whole life, 00:59 started singing with our mom and our family group in 1975, 01:04 that was the year Valerie was born. 01:06 So we've all grown up on the road. 01:09 It's wonderful, it's wonderful 01:11 to get to travel with our family. 01:12 Neat. Nothing, nothing better. 01:14 Awesome, awesome. 01:16 Well, now what... 01:17 So that is your career, 01:19 so aside from that 01:20 what does music mean to you? 01:24 Music means hope to us, it gives us hope, 01:28 it makes you happy, it can make you sad, 01:31 it's just every emotion you can imagine, 01:33 it's everything to us. 01:36 It comes through in the music, yeah. 01:38 Music is a gift, it's also a gift. 01:40 Definitely. 01:41 The thing is I wonder, 01:43 the greatest gifts that God gave us 01:44 is the gift of music 01:46 and He gifted us with the talent 01:49 to be able to sing the music keep it in our heart 01:51 and it's our life actually. 01:53 So what you're doing now is still singing on the road, 01:58 do you still do that quite a bit? 02:01 We travel, 02:04 we pick and choose more now than we used to, 02:07 events that we really want to do 02:09 and feel that we're supposed to do. 02:11 We also have families at home. 02:13 I have a 14 year at home, 02:15 Valerie has a 17 year old at home. 02:17 And, but we do still travel and minister. 02:20 Awesome. 02:21 The song is... 02:23 Well, and people can get a hold of you, 02:25 they can go on to the Internet and order your music, 02:28 because you have wonderful three part harmony, 02:30 family harmony, I have been blessed 02:33 to have produced a couple of projects for you, 02:35 an a Capella project, 02:37 it is just wonderful.
