Well, I love a willing heart. 00:15 And, you know, one thing I love about real good friends, 00:19 if that's the right, real good? Genuine. 00:21 Genuine friend, 00:23 is they're patient with each other. 00:24 Amen. 00:26 You know, they are even patient with each other's grammar, 00:27 they judge, you know, 00:28 they're lightening up on each other. 00:30 They don't try to correct each other, 00:31 like you just did me. 00:33 No, you see. 00:34 But you are... 00:35 You are a good friend and thank you for the request 00:38 that you've sent, but the real friend is Jesus. 00:42 That's right. 00:43 And He is patient, 00:45 patiently waiting for those who can't seem to decide 00:49 whether they want to follow Him 00:52 with all of their heart or not, 00:54 even with a lot of us, you know, 00:56 I mean, He's faithful to forgive 00:58 and His mercies are new every morning 01:00 because He knows we need mercy and we need that grace. 01:04 That's right. 01:05 So, this request is found in page... 01:09 On page 289 in the hymnal 01:11 and it's called the "Savior is Waiting." 01:13 So let's sing it. That's right. 08:18 You know, "He that loveth not knoweth not God, 08:21 for God is love." 08:23 I was doing a series on love. 08:26 And somebody said to me, 08:28 "I hope, I hope you're gonna preach 08:31 about more than just the love of God." 08:33 And I thought, "What else is there?" 08:38 If you preach prophecy, 08:39 it should be in the context of the love of God. 08:41 Any doctrine you preach 08:43 should always be in the context of love. 08:46 Because the greatest of these is, love. 08:49 Love us just where I was going. 08:51 Prophecy's gonna fail, knowledge is gonna cease... 08:52 That's where you're going. Right. Yes. 08:53 It's all gonna blow away. Right. 08:55 One day we won't need prophecy anymore 08:56 but then there'll be the God, the love of God. 08:58 Right, exactly. 09:00 So if you ever hear somebody say to you, maybe your pastor, 09:03 or teacher, or preacher and you say, they say, 09:05 "Is there anything else can you preach 09:06 that you can preach on but the love of God?" 09:08 Ask them this question, "What else is there?" 09:10 Right. 09:12 There is nothing else. 09:13 And it's a deep topic, 09:14 when you think about God's love, 09:16 it gets deeper and deeper the more you go into it, 09:17 and I believe that throughout eternity 09:20 God is gonna be unfolding. 09:22 I called this "This Devine Artichoke," 09:24 that's about the size of the Jupiter. 09:28 It's got like 77 million leaves 09:30 and every leave is gonna show us 09:32 something more about His love. 09:33 Wow. 09:34 Because what love can we think about, 09:36 think about how much God loves you. 09:37 How many times He could've turned away from you? 09:39 Yeah. Can't even fathom. 09:41 How many times He could've turned away from you 09:42 and said, you know, what? 09:44 My love has a limit 09:45 but I'm thankful that with His love, 09:48 His mercies are new every morning. 09:50 So thank you for that song. The mountains bow down. 17:37 You know, David, the Psalmist, 17:38 look at the skies, look at the stars, 17:40 there is no language where the voices not heard 17:42 night after night they pour forth speech. 17:44 Right. 17:45 And all creations, I said to somebody, 17:47 if you have a problem believing whether God exists, 17:51 go where there is no doubt, creation, the stars, the moon, 17:55 the mountains, the ocean, praise God for that song. 17:58 Praise music is a great thing to do. 17:59 Oh, for sure.
